Morning Mates, from another miserable weather day here in Pictou County.
I feel like I'm in the movie Ground Hog Day, every day you wake up, it's exactly the same weather....
5 day forecast shows a bit of sun peeking out by Wednesday...I'll believe it when I see it...
Meanwhile, it's back to the old grind. Work and routine. I still have not been able to make my final decision regarding a new job as I cannot seem to get a hold of the woman in question. I will try again today.
Hope some of my Mates have a better weather week than me!
We will be having a week without sunshine here in CT.
It's not as bad for me because I am retired and don't have the daily grind.
It will be a good week in spite of the weather because we are looking forward to meeting Henry and his wife on saturday.
No matter what your weather is, I do hope that you have a nice week.

When the weatherman, doesn't give a weather report, just says it's going to rain all week, period, you know your're in trouble So, I will keep dreaming of sunny blue skies. I am still coughing and blowing,so the rain makes it easier to stay inside this week.
Rd, I hope your decision is easy for you, you deserve it!
Make it a good one.
Trip, with her book & tea!

blahh is all i have to say about the weather lol. At least its not a soaking rain, just going to be a miserable, week with showers on and off EVERY DAY! upside to this, washes away the pollen. Make it a good one!
It's a relative cool cloudy day here in upper East Tennessee.
Sounds to me Linda as if you need a chest X-Ray if you haven't already had one. Better to be safe than sorry.
The eather doesn't bode well for B/W''s kids hitting any of the water parks the next four days. While sun is in the forecast for Thursday, the temps for the next three days are going to be only around 60. Nevertheless, there's certainly plenty to keep them entertained over in the Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge area. I'm certainly going to recommend to them the Titanic museum.
Sorry R/D about your continuing spate of cool overcast and rain but it's to be expected when you live in the Maritimes.
Better get my tail end in gear and get ready to roll. Havel plenty to do both before and after I go over there. Have to decide what I'm taking with me to Cleveland and order oxygen, etc. for the hotel.
Got to talk with Sue and am looking forward to meeting her and her DH on Sunday on the way North.
Prayer for all those on my list and a request for Blessings continue unabated.
Good morning from FL. Don't know if I dare tell you how beautiful it was this morning standing on a hill by the beach with the tourquoise waves rolling in, and the beautiful blue skies overhead to watch the space shuttle go off. It was spectacular!!!!!!
I sure hope the weather improves for most of you although the weathermen don't seem to be offering much hope. Why couldn't they be wrong about this as they are about so many forecasts?
Off to help out at church. Have a good one everybody.
"the following Sunday I finally get to meet Sue and her husband at an exit in Cincinnati on the way to Clevelan." quoted by TODD DH
So, what is your route after Cincinnati to Cleveland? I assume maybe I-70. But, if you continue to roll down I-75, you would be in my neck of the woods in about 2.5 - 3 hours. Small world.
It is gloomy and only in the mid-50's F today and slowly, VERY slowly improving to mid-60's later in the week. But the gloom is to continue with occasional showers most of the week. Got some good news, though, as my corn is all planted, finally!! (I own some farm ground that a relative farms for me.)
DD#2 left to go back to Dayton yesterday and start a clinical for her PT schooling. She will be home most weekends this summer but really not around as her and her fiance' have a cottage along the river near us. House is back to DH and I and our two dogs. Quiet!!!!
Good morning A sunny but cool and windy here today in the beautiful city of Chicago. We should hit 50 today for the big inauguration of our new mayor Rahm Emanuel so itís fitting that it's windy after all we are the windy city!
I brought the plants out of the garage for some sunshine after two days in the garage, they were so happy I could hear the singing. Not much going on today for me other the grocery shopping.
LuanneÖ Iím happy to hear Jim arrived safe and sound!

It is a beautiful Spring day here with temps in the 50's and a forecast high in the mid 60's. We had a busy day of "heavy housecleaning" and yard work yesterday. It cleared up yesterday and I had to mow the lawn. It had been less than a week but with all the rain the "Grass Heroin", aka fertilizer, it grew at an almost scary rate. Plus we did a heavy top to bottom cleaning of the house. You know, where you move all the furniture, beds, wash windows, pull cold air returns, pull out the stove and refrigerator and find those places that you miss when doing daily cleaning. The top of the door frames in the kitchen were a bit shocking.
Nothing really on the agenda today so we'll catch up on the final Survivor. Don't tell me who won.
Kuki: Give your mom my best.
Donna: Congratulations at your new position at the Pictou location of "Hard Liquor and Handguns Daycare". Here is your first group of kids.
I hope everyone has a great week.

Got back an hour ago from a wonderful long lunch with Beenie Weenie and her two adorable children, Westin and Allie. DeAnna came over from Clinton too even though she was really under the weather. Nevertheless, she never let on and B/W and the kids think the world of her and were so glad she was there, she just couldn't let them down. It was truly a wonderful, if overcast and cool, afternoon.
Now I can't wait to meet Travelgal Sue and her husband on Sunday as we drive to Cleveland (drive that is if DeAnna ever lets the tires actually touch the roadway ("Flying low" is truly an apt description. )).
It's official! I am hired as a full-time educator at a small home-style daycare,
starting the week after school ends in June!
Good for you Donna! The daycare is lucky to get you.
