Default Thursday Sunshine!

Goodness Gracious, Great Balls of Fire! or lat least that's what it looks like up in the sky today! I'd almost forgotten what the sun looks like.
I can even see patches of blue sky between the clouds, and the temperature has soared to 11C or 51F and will hit 15C or 59F later. Time to take out the shorts!
Yesterday it was nice in the afternoon and we took the kids outside to the play park behind the school. The grassy area was a quagmire with 2 weeks of rain soaking it, but the gravel area was fine and we enjoyed the warmth and sunshine. More of that to look forward to today...

This morning it's Aquafitness for me, then an appointment at the bank, a visit to the Hector who is back home in its quay, then off to work.

Have a good one all, and Judy, I hope you get some relief for your knee!

Hi Kids,
Around here, the theme song is still, "Play Misty for Me!" Maybe tomorrow. Not sure how our friends in the northwest deal with all the rain and gray skies they have.

Bruce pushed his knee operation back till the week of July 4th..for a while he said he was canceling it alltogether! I can see what is in my future, a not too happy camper!

Make it a good one.

Good morning from a partly cloudy, Texas. We are due for some rain in the next day or two, and we will surely except it.

I had the most wonderful breakfast this morning. Pancakes, cream cheese, pineapple, almonds, with half of a banana, and oj. All for 390 calories. It was heaven. I think this new way of eating is going to be better than I thought. I hope so.

I have already talked to Jim this morning. He has been in 3 places in two days, helping to turn out the lights. He was part of the group that turned them on many years ago, so I think it is great for him to be there to turn them off.

Our annual fest will be starting here tonight. The good thing it brings many dollars to the community, but the bad thing is it happens in our back yard. Well, the City Park, but that is in my back yard. The people who do not want to pay for parking, park on our street, and walk. We get the trash, loud music, and lots of bright light for the weekend. We have people trying to go through our yard, and ringing the door bell to see if they can cut through our yard. The fest does not end until midnight, so it takes awhile to finally get to sleep. Some people in the past have not been the smartest in the world. They climb on the sign that says beware of dog!!!! They climb just as fast, when they realize what the sign means. The last couple of years they have a real helicopter rides. It has a spot light that normally shines in our windows. I have often wondered if they are pointing out where they got their butt bite while tresspassing.

I hope all of you have a good day.

Luanne

Our weather forescast calls for improvement over the next couple of days.

Default Thursday Sunshine

Good morning! It's bright and sunny, so I guess the storm systems have moved on.

We had an unexpected trip to Newport Beach yesterday. I got a much-needed haircut and we had an early dinner at P.F.Chang's while the freeway traffic died down.

It'll be a quiet day here, so far as I know.

Judy
