"Live Life To the fullest"

That is a quote attributed to Ernest Hemmingway .

Some people spend their entire life without having a sense of humor .They may have a lenghty life but it certainly will not be an enjoyable one .

One of my closest friends was diagnosed in 2006 with pancreatic cancer .He did not stop "living ." He knew that his days were numbered but he made sure to try and enjoy his days even though he suffered greatly .He left this earth in 2009 but he truely lived life .

Last week another friend of mine died .He had been sick for the past several years but he too made sure to get the most out of his years .

There is a saying "live each day as though it were your last."

Tomorrow is promised to no one.
I would rather die living life than living a life not lived!

the death of someone close to us always causes one to reflect on the value of living and enjoying every day to the fullest

Since posting this yesterday I found out that one of my MIL's closest friends ,a 91 year old man was killed by a hit and run driver .It was a sunny afternoon and he crossed with the light .

I like your comment. :D  :) I try to do what we can. We have been on two cruises this year and we have a trip to Italy in september plus a few small trips during the summer.

Henry, This is so true. My youngest went at life like there was no tomorrow. We use to tell him to slow down and take it easy. He just couldn't do it. At age 20, his life ended, and now we know why he couldn't stop. He had to touch as many people before he left. He had to make a difference.

Live a good life today, for there my not be a tomorrow.
