Default RIP : The Big Man !!!

for you music fans..Clarence Clemons, sax player for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, past away this weekend..he was 69...he was quite the character..being a Black sax player in a White rock and roll band in the early 70's when that was unheard of..but was equally as famous for playing a distinct sax style with legendary soul singers Aretha Franklin (Freeway of Love) and Luther Van Dross (This Is Christmas)

I'm sure we will soon see a made for VH1 movie about the unique friendship between Bruce and Clarence

The Big Man is probably already playing sax in Heaven with the Angel's House Band

There is a tribute to CC on the music board that I am a contributor to .

Many years ago I ventured into Asbury Park,NJ to see a young singer named Bruce Springsteen .He put together a fabulous band .

I was very sad to hear this. He was one heck of a player and added the "soul" to the E Street Band. He and his music will be missed.

Take care,
Mike

Sad news....Rest in peace Clarence. Lady Gaga's new video for the song Edge of Glory which Clarence is in was just released before his death.

The Boss with Clarence and the E. Street band has some awesome music.....Born to Run is my favorite.

Clarence was simply the best. One of our local radio stations played Santa Clause is Coming to Town today which felt like a strange choice at first but then I realized it was the perfect choice.
RIP
