Sunday, My Last Day of Freedom

Morning Mates, it is a glorious sunshiney Sunday here in Pictou County. Despite yesterday's early morning cloud, it too turned into a picture perfect day - great for the tourists as well as the locals!

This is my last day of freedom before the new job. I have mixed feelings about it, although I'm looking forward to working with little ones again, I'm not so sure about the full time hours. I have come to enjoy having some free time to myself after so many years of doing everything for others.
Retirement would be the answer, but if I want to cruise, I've gotta work!

Well, there's cleaning to do, then I just may go out there and enjoy some of this wonderful sunshine!

Donna, the cleaning will wait. If you've got good weather, go out there and enjoy it. Especially in view of your returning to work full time tomorrow!
Well, the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary today. She's sleeping in at the moment, so I don't know what's on the schedule. There's a very nice steak house here in Lakeland that's one of her favorites, so that's probably what she'll want to do.

Hi Kids,
Overcast here, but getting up to 80 today, and, the week ahead will get hotter as we go on. That's ok. I was born in July, the hottest day ever my Mom said

Not sure what's on the agenda. I have a baby shower coming up, so, I will be making a pink diaper cake. This one will have lots of bling...just my style

So I will need to go buy some pampers....do not insert joke here....

RD wishing you good luck with the ankle biters, and, congrats to Ken & Vita!

Bruce is making breakfast, so, I will just say....Make it a good one.

Good morning
A cooler day in store for us today with temps holding around 83, or so they say. Going to my brothers for a swim day and cookout with my side of the family, the boys are going to the Cubs game.

Good Morning cruisemates! A picture perfect day here in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies... with temps in the 80s F.

Not much on the agenda today, other than going out for dinner tonight with my son, daughther in law and mother.

Guess we'll say we're going to celebrate Ken and Vita's anniversary. Happy Anniversary.

Not too much on the agenda for today. It looks like it would be a great day for the lake but this weekend the nearby lakes are packed so perhaps we'll just take it easy and do our boating next week when the kids are here.

Good morning! Another hot one and over 100 everywhere but the beach.

Happy anniversary, Ken and Vita. We celebrated our 38th on June 30.

The coffee smells good and some breakfast would be good, too. I think this will be another day holed up with the Sunday crossword and my Kindle.

Donna, cruising is important. Sorry you can't retire.

Had a busy, busy day yesterday and looks like it's going to be the same again today.

Have a person from another caregiving agency coming on Tuesday. I fired the other outfit. I can already tell my dad is not pleased. He wants nothing to do with anyone taking care of him but me. Well, he thinks he can take care of himself, which means I do all of the work. He has no insight at all that he needs help...or that I need help in helping him. Hell, he still thinks he's going to go home to mom and help her take care of the place...and she's about to move into a senior living place. All right. Having a moment. Rant over. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

It's the evening here in the UK 17.37 and still 23 degrees no wind off the sea so it's going to be a warm night.

You will be fine when you get back into the job, think of the next cruise
