Default Good Morning It's Sunday!!

Good morning everyone from the great state of Texas. We continue with our 29th day of 100 or more.

The water is going and the birds are playing in the sprinklers. All around me is nothing but dry, but my little area, is an ocean of green. As long as I can keep it that way, I will be happy.

I slept like a log last night. I think maybe it's pure exhaustion. Nothing planned today, or better yet, I plan nothing. Just reading, watching tv, and getting ready for another week of workouts. Josh says I have man legs now.:o He is not use to them having a shape.

I hope all of you have a good day, and a good week.

Please remember to count your blessings.

The heat wave appears to have broken in Southern Ontario-thank God!
The A/C as running all night but when I got up and went out to the sun room it was cooler there than inside. YEA! I hope it cools down for all the others suffering in the Northeast....the mid west....the south.

Morning all. Another day of heat here, too. We had rain around us yesterday but not here. The clouds did shave some of the afternoon heat though. Yay. I hope cruisemates to my south did not get in trouble. I thought I saw a warnings across the Weather Channel for flash flooding.

Not much planned so far for today. I have some chores I need to do. After that I may try to read during dad's afternoon nap.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning Mates

Our weather is cooling off after some record breaking temps. We are only expecting 90 F today.

Luanne, God bless you for keeping a little Oasis for the birds and possibly other critters. I feel bad about the drought in your in your neck of the woods and I certainly pray for rain for all the dry parts of the US.

Have a nice day folks.

Good morning my dearest CM’s
I feel battered and broken this morning but did manage to have a good night’s sleep in which I was desperately in need of. More clean up today, nothing to big just wiping things down and looking forward to a good dinner tonight!!
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone,

The heat wave has also broken here in Minnesota. This morning when I went outside it was actually chilly. I shut off the air conditioner and opened the windows. I'll have to turn the air back on in a while but it's nice to get some outside air into the house.

Today we'll be going over to my daughter's. She is giving a lecture in California but my SIL is holding down the fort. My job will be to give my granddaughter shooting lessons. Her parents bought her an air rifle. She has been wanting to learn to shoot for years but I am not an advocate of air rifles. I'd rather a kid learn with a real gun and learn respect for the weapon. So I will teach her how to responsibly and safely use the gun and enforce the fact that if she shoots any living thing, including her brother, with it then it will be taken from her until she is 13.

Otherwise not much else to report.

Aero: I hope all is drying out and I'm glad you got some sleep.
Luanne: I bet the guys are now all checking out your legs.

I hope everyone has a great day!!

Take care,

Mike, Thanks for saying that, you made my day.

I am so glad you will be working with your g-daughter. It is something that she will remember for the rest of her life.

Good morning from the Arizona desert, where our 105 or 106 will be much more bearable than those similar temperatures for many of you, I'm sure.

I continue to recover, slowly but steadily, from the Lupus flare-up I've been experiencing since the beginning of June. It still takes a lot out of me energy-wise to fight the illness, but I think I'm making progress.

I had one of those big birthdays that ends in a zero on the 15th, and one of my favorite gifts is a Kindle, so I've been having fun with that since I don't have the get up and go yet to do much of anything when I get home from work.

Today is a stay inside in the AC kind of day, watch our Diamondbacks on TV and maybe go out to eat if I feel up to it.

Have a great day, Cruise Mates!
