Certainly NOT my idea of "pre flight entertainment"! Just another reason that I fly as seldom as absolutely necessary now days. (As a passenger) Commercial aviation, and all the hassles associated with flying commercially, are more than I care to put up with.
GREAT article! Sounds about right to me! Actually, a friend of mine was one of the very first airline stewards, on Piedmont Airlines back in the 50's, (DC-3's) and he had some tales to tell! It's really a shame that airline travel is so bad. I'm just thankful that I don't have to put up with it very often. (I used to have to fly at least twice a week.)
I'm especially concerned that the pilot's vision is blurred. I truly hope that is temporary.
At its worst, that sort of thing can be a career ender, and that would be tragic.
