Default Is that really you ?

Did you ever sit next to someone on a plane ,at the theater ,etc who appeared to be somebody famous but you were "afraid" to ask "is that really you ?"

Several years ago I was at a concert .A guy sitting in front of me looked just like Dee Snider but I could overhear his conversation during lulls and it did not appear to be him. The next day I read in a NYC newspaper that Dee Snider was in attendance at the concert .

I was in the Phoenix airport and saw Edgar Winter hanging around. I wanted to go over but didn't.

He's kinda hard to not recognize.

I sat next to Stephen Baldwin on a flight...he was rather intoxicated and only spoke after waking up when landing !

Also had a nice conversation with former wrestler Ric Flair in an airport and got to hold his championship belt.

We had former wrestlers Olie and Arn Anderson lived not to far from us in Roswell, Ga. and they often frequented our DQ for a banana split when in town.

On the shuttle bus, from the airport to the Part & Fly in Boston, we climbed into the back seat, and in the front seat, sat Lenny Clark, the comedian.

He had lost a lot of weight, but, I knew it was him, and said..is that you Lenny? You look marvelous! We had a nice chat on the ride.

From 1994 to 1998 I was involved with booking sports stars for Make A Wish Foundation fundraisers . Every Professional Wrestler that I contacted offered their services and refused payment .In addition instead of appearing for 30 minutes they stayed the entire 7 hours .
With 3 exceptions every baseball player contacted wanted huge amounts .The kids loved the wrestlers who signed and gave free autographs and lots of other things .

Once in Boca, in an outside restaurant, I said to my gf..that's Davd Crosby over there..she said no way. When we saw the waiter come over and gush, I knew I was right!
