I use Internet Explorer all the way. and have had no problems with it.

If you are having a problem with Internet Explorer, you might try upgrading to the current version for your system. Both Internet Exploer 8 and Internet Explorer 9 seem quite stable.

Norm.

We use IE8 but have chrome installed as well. Tried IE9 but could not use our printer, one thing that IE9 does is not allow you to use some manufactures printers and such so went back right away to IE8. IF we have problems wiil swithch to chrome.

Cool

I use Firefox 4.0 . I have found that IE8 or 9 gave me to many errors .
If web page doesn't respond to Firefox, usually the website or your internet connection. IE8 0r 9 is very picky of what it expects and to many banner ads pop up. Also Firefox is almost bullet proof to viruses and a lot of bad web pages. Settings are easy controlled for user ease.

Problems with different browsers usually boils down to what operating system you are using . Example : Safari works best on a MA because it was written for the MAC. The same for all other browsers . The problen now is that may web page designer aren't properly traned in web design. Anyone can now do web page with easy to get free software . Like anything standards for web design don't exist or if they exist people don't follow them.
My son who is an IT manager is finding that some web based software doesn't follow a minimal standard . People I know use some software from an online travel reservation system , find that Firefox , Safari and IE6 or higher doesn't work at all with this system.
Personally I think chrome has potential but is a work in progress.
