It's a beautiful monday morning in my neck of the woods.
I am thankful that yesterday went by without any more acts of violence.
Now My DW and I are facing a busy week as we prepare for a trip to Italy this coming sunday.
I wish you all a nice day and a wonderful week
TM

Morning Mates,
Looks like another beautiful day here in Pictou County, sunny, breezy but warm. I will enjoy taking the kids out later this afternoon.
My Sunday afternoon at the ship went by so fast, we had so many wonderful visitors, many who stayed a long time asking questions and chatting. The time just flew by. If only the paid job felt like that!
Foggy morning with temps to get up to around 80 later. That means the yard will get mowed!
It was a day of reflection for all of us yesterday. Remembering those who lost their lives on 9/11 was on everyones mind. It was also the 7th anniversary of the passing of my best girlfriend who lost to cancer on that date. I have so many wonderful memories of our past days that I had to smile and wonder what we would have gotten into had she lived longer.
We made the trip to Somerset, Ky on Sat. doing a dance there. It was a beautiful drive and we met some of the nicest folks there. Stayed overnight in Richmond, Ky where yesterday we went to the cemetary to visit the grave of a very dear fellow square dance caller. He was famous for a song he did about a possum and I have been looking for a small decorative possum to put at his grave, but I've had no luck. How surprised we were to find that someone had found one and placed it on his monument. It looks great and is a great tribute to him. The drive home was a good one, no hurries just enjoying the day.
Overall it was a good weekend. Now to get busy with this week's tasks.
Everyone have a great day and prayers continue for all those in need.
It's sunny and they're calling for a high of 82 so I may well get there and do my lawn as well, Sue.
Have yet to read or hear anything from Venice but at least we know he's alright. I certainly offered a prayer of thanks last night as regards knowing he's okay.
Hope Beenie-Weenie posts today as I don't remember seeing much from her of late.
Well, gotta' get at the morning chores. Hope everyone has a good back-to-work day (especially you, R/D) and prayers and a request for Blessings continue as always.
Good morning from a warm Texas. It is getting back up to 100 today. Although I was thrilled with the cooler temps, I live in the hot, so I guess I need to deal with it.
I have been busy this morning, rangleing dust, dirt, and dog hair. Does anyone know of a company who buys this stuff? I could make a fortune.
Morning from the Pacific Northwest............has been hot for the last week......upper 80's.....hot for us anyway.....
Today is mid 80's......then we're gonna drop to the 70's.......oh well......
Attempted a road trip over the weekend......didn't work out so good........guess I should check out where we wanted to go before we left......might have know that hotels would be booked & places would be packed.......
