Morning Mates,
This is what we looked like 10 years ago today at our Steam Train Wedding.
Today, we celebrate our 10th anniversary, as well as James' birthday, and on Saturday we will renew our vows onboard the Ship Hector.
it is a magnificent sunny day out today, but I just heard and saw a huge "V" of Canada geese flying overhead, so I can't imagine that is good news, if they're leaving already!
Have a good one folks!
Hi Kids, It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring! And,all day it too;( oy.....

Happy Anniversary, Donna and James - I remember the day well! And happy birthday, James! Hope you both do something special today. You've got a good memory, Nancy!
It's a rainy day here in eastern Ontario, but we need it. At least the sun shone brightly on Saturday for our daughter's wedding.
Happy Anniversary, Donna and James. And happy birthday, James!
Not much happening here in NW Ohio. Just cloudy with showers and storms (perhaps severe) due later. DD#2 due home late afternoon. DH and both dogs sleeping in the living room. Must be nice!
Cruise is coming up fast! I can't wait, but I know I need more time to get ready for it!! Oh well, I will just go when it gets here and whatever is not ready will just have to suffer!!
Good Morning R/D, Trip, Lisa, Moiraine, Nancy, Cruwsie and Robin and all who follow.
It's going to be a beautiful sun filled today here in upper East Tennessee with high's in the upper seventies. Even down here, the trees are starting to turn, even more so at the higher elevations in the mountains.
I had what physician's refer to as a, "General malaise" yesterday for some reason and didn't accomplish a damned thing. Don't know what it was, I guess maybe a 24 hour bug but I feel normal today.
I just love your pictures, R/D and you and James, as they say around these parts, "Clean up pretty well!" You both are truly Blessed to have found each other and I swear, at least to me, neither of you have changed in the last ten years. I, on the other hand, am starting to look a year older which I guess most would consider natural but it's happening to me every month!
In any event, a Happy Bithday James and a very very Happy Anniversary to you both.
It's definitely a housework day today, that's for sure! So better have at it.
Have a wonderful Thursday, everyone and of course Prayers and Blessings continue. Also hope RonR, that your mother is feeling better today.
Saw RTAllen's update and figured I'd try the same.

Well, at least partially. I'm not that self centered so have to try and eliminate one signature.

Yesterday I forgot that we were to pick up the kids at the airport. They had been in Orlando. My daughter was a speaker at a convention and then conducted a three day class. They also did three days before at Universal and while she was doing the class my SIL took the kids to Disney.
When they came out of the terminal there were two excited kids and two parents, especially my SIL, who looked like death warmed over. My SIL's first words were. "Mickey needs D-Con". He didn't think it was the "Happiest Place on Earth." Though he did comment on the professionalism of the staff and how clean they kept it. He just wasn't prepared for the size of it and one person handling two kids, for three days, made for some long days. Mind you this is a VERY easy going and physically fit guy. They said that they and the kids enjoyed Universal much more than Disney.
We did get the entertainment center taken apart. I think the thing was put together with about 300 screws. The bad part was breaking them loose and then pulling them out with the power screw driver and drill. Now the "parts" need to be hauled upstairs and then loaded into the Suburban and taken to the recycle center.
Today is a cool and VERY windy day. Betty was going to clean windows but with the wind and the temp she's decided to "procrastinate" on it and she could not sleep well last night and just woke up.
Happy Anniversary Donna and James.
I hope all have a great day and a enjoy the upcoming weekend.
Take care,
Mike

Happy Anniversary, Donna and James! Those Canadian geese have made their way to Northern Michigan and are practicing their "V"s all day, ready to head south! I'm not ready for that!
