Arrived safely in Myrtle Beach last evening a little before eight. All I can say about my niece DeAnna and her husband's newest three bedroom condo here is it is nothing less than stunning. DeAnna's husband arrives sometime this afternoon as he had business to take care of before he came down.
It was so relaxing sitting on the veranda looking at the lights of Barefoot Landing as the moon rose into the sky. I didn't know how much I needed this break until I got here and I'm so glad instead of just staying three days, we're staying ten.
I'm not a techie but some of you may be familiar with a device they have in my bedroom that converts my laptop into a PC by placing it on the device, it raises and then tilts the whole thing up bringing the 17" screen more to eye level and instead of typing on my laptop keyboard, I'm typing on the device's keyboard.
Have no idea what's in store for today other than settling in, awaiting my O2 delivery and then running back to the store for odd's and ends we forgot to get when we stopped at the supermarket on the way in.
Hope everyone has a good "Back to work day" and Prayers were offered at Church yesterday morning for all those on my proverbial list along with a sincere request for God's Blessings upon all.

I have been in Myrtle Beach several times myself. We have friends who live there.
We are having a beautiful fall day today. I have a few places to go and it's a great day to be outdoors.
Have a nice day folks.

Morning to you Todd in Myrtle Beach. I have never been there, but know many people who have. I would probably love it, as it is a BEACH!
Glad you are getting some relaxing time with your favourite neice....enjoy!
The weather here today is not so hot. Cloudy, rainy, dull, and cool. Perfect for a back-to-work Monday!
Yesterday I cooked the turkey dinner we never got for Thanksgiving last week and enjoyed every mouthful - and will do so again tonight!
Also enjoyed a relaxed and mellow evening of good music in an intimate concert with Murray McLauchlan, one of Canada's best songwriters.
Now, to psyche myself up for work this afternoon....
Todd, you of all people deserve a relaxing time. Only a few people know what you have been through, and how wonderfully you have done it.
Today is operation clean up. I have been putting of so many of my household work. Now it is time to pay the piper.
We have one more day of hot, and then we get much needed relief. The only thing wrong is we will go from 90's today to 43 in the morning. This will surely make more than a few people sick.
I'm from Tennessee. We have grits at every restaurant that serves breakfast and even some that don't!

Morning all. It's also our last day of heat before the cooldown. I can't wait! I'm up and going after a belated start to the day. The teen's alarm did not go off. It took her dad calling me from work to get us both out of bed. She jumped in the shower and then ran out of the door with me holding breakfast and lunch out to her.
Todd, have a good time...and please take your meds.
A sunny, but cool day here in NW Ohio - only to get to upper 50's or maybe 60 outside. I have plenty to do inside today!
Saw all my kids and SO's yesterday. They invaded the house during the afternoon. Played with the dogs, talked and then left for more important things to do! Tried to nap last night, but ended up reading.
DH and dogs are all asleep in the living room. Not much else going on.
Good morning! I'm Baaaaack! Not on my own 'puter yet, but the new battery should be here today. The Fedex driver messed up on Friday and somehow thought we were "a non-existent business," so the batter got sent back to the warehouse. It's on the truck again, though, so now you're stuck with me again.
Todd, Myrtle Beach sounds wonderful.
We are just fine. Keith is struggling to learn the ins and outs of his new hearing aids. They are quite amazing, albeit frustrating for him. He's at a new gym and complains about the longer drive.
We look forward to a trip to Arizona in November for another reunion and a visit with Keith's brother, Wendell. Wendell and his DW will come to the first day of the activties with wheel chair in tow.
Moraine, if you're talking about "Murder Unleashed" from 2011, I thought it had a good plot but had too much lecturing or preaching about the banks. When writers do that, I always think they don't have enough of an actual story, so they pad it.
The new Mrs. Murphy book isn't due until April of 2012. I've pre-ordered it.
Yep, her editors stepped in. I can't imagine what she would have put in if they hadn't. She ruined what could have been a good book. I know she is passionate about social issues...but she has just gone nuts here.
