Morning Mates, what a nice feeling to be able to sleep in, especially after being awake till 3:30 a.m. Sometimes that's when the best creative juices flow, so I got up and did some work planning for a Halloween scavenger hunt.
Now that I'm rested, I will have to get some housecleaning done, the animal hair is winning the war at the moment.
Later today, when James is finished the garage shelving, I will go out there and "direct" where everything should go. I sure won't be lifting, I'm in enough pain as it is!
Well, have a nice restful Sunday everyone, doing what you enjoy doing!
p.s. here's one of those foliage photos I took....
actually, it's a decorative pumpkin I made for my driveway...
Good morning Off to my sisters in a little while I’m going to look through her closet and jewelry box to see what I want to borrow for my cruise. The one gal going on the cruise booked us for the snorkel and stingray sandbar excursion while were in Grand Cayman, sounds like fun to me! 34 days to go, 33 if we count the day we leave to FL!
Have a great day!

Betty and I were sound asleep at 9:30 p.m. last night so it was an early awakening (04:30) for both of us. Betty's work schedule this week left her worn out and she was asleep within a hour of getting home last night.
We just returned from the store and picked up some things for this afternoon. We'll be doing a lunch buffet for our guests. We'll do a sandwich and salad buffet. We stopped at the bakery and bought some French rolls, ciabatta, rye and Italian bread. Yesterday I made a crab salad, a chicken walnut and cherry salad and baked two apple pies. That should fill them up. Then again, my cousin who is visiting is a family legend on the amount of food he can consume in one sitting. When he visited my brother in Texas they went to a local steakhouse and my cousin won the "64 oz. Texas Titan" challenge. He ate a four pound steak and side dishes. Two hours later he made a sandwich out of the leftover steak the others had brought home. The funny part is that he is around 6' and probably under 180 lbs..
So, that's what my Sunday will consist of. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday and a beautiful Fall day.

I was up early because I am usually an early riser. We have been to church and I am going to have lunch with my daughters.
We leave for Florida a week from today and we still have some things to pack.
With all the food that Mike has, it would be great to be a guest at his place.
Have a nice day folks.
