Good Morning Luanne, you certainly have reason to celebrate today! Welcome home Jim!!

It has dawned sunny and bright this morning, but at only 1C or 33F, it is not warm.
The weather girl on TV is predicting a nor'easter to hit by tonight, bringing SNOW, rain, high winds, and possibly a thunderstorm.
We're going out tonight to our monthly Trivia night, so not looking forward to driving home in that!
Contemplating whether or not to wear a costume, as it is a Halloween trivia night. My one and only costume is so old, but nobody here in Nova Scotia has seen it, so maybe....

No other plans for the weekend, so maybe I will enjoy that stack of books awaiting me....

Good Morning All!! I really do enjoy when ya'll start waking up and I get some new things to read before I head home from work.

This morning when I get off (in 2 hours), I plan to stop at something we have here called Market on the Move. They take produce that the stores didn't buy from the distributors and sell it for $10 for as much as you can carry out. The selection is limited and the quality slightly less than of the stores, but for the price you can freeze, can, or cook it and make it worth far more!

After that I'll head home and make breakfast for my husband and the kids, and get to bed. Back in tonight and tomorrow night! Hope you have a great day and post lots for me to read when I get some free time tonight. :-)

Good morning Luanne, RollerDonna and KD.

I have always been the grillmaster but was told yesterday by Jeff, my dear friend, that I can't do that this year because, as I've just posted on the "Ressurection" thread, I was not in cardiac arrest. I was actually completely and clinically stone dead when my ICD restarted my heart. There was absolutely nothing on the readout tape that was negative at which one could point and say, "The event started here." I literally dropped dead.

Everything henceforth in my life is now truly a gift, a second chance as it were.

Prayers and Blessings continue for all.

Geez Todd, that sure is a sobering thought.
So glad you are still here to entertain us with your wisdom and good humour!

My niece and hubby are coming to visit today. Should be fun.

Donna, I hope you have fun tonight despite the weather.

Good morning! A beautiful sunny morning here in SoCal.

Todd, my heavens, I am so glad you are still with us!

Luanne, I am also so glad that Jim is home.

Keith is in Riverside. My mission, should I choose to do it, is house cleaning.

Have a good day, all.

Judy

Good morning ladies, gentlemen and boys and girls.

I haven't posted on the good morning thread in a couple of days because I have been the victim of spousal abuse. Betty is still on her cleaning and organizing binge and it was further fed when her company closed one of their buildings. This left a plethora of office furniture available for any employee to take with the full blessing of the company.

Betty took full advantage of it and grabbed book shelves, file cabinets and some other "office" stuff. The Suburban and her car were loaded down three times. The book shelves are now in the basement and the file cabinets are in my office. She wants a shelf for everything and nothing will be on the floor. When she gets in this mode there is no stopping her. My back is sore from playing "pack mule" for mule skinner Betty.

Today's agenda is more work on the basement and then a visit to the kids and grandkids. They returned VERY early this morning from a long and tiring trip from Australia. We are going through kid withdrawal but we will wait until they have rested before doing a grandma and grandpa invasion.

Todd: I'm happy to hear that you are doing well after the cardiac event. It sounds like a nasty one.

I hope everyone has a great Saturday and I hope those on the East Coast are enjoying their first taste of Winter.

Take care,
Mike
