Morning Mates, from a wet and miserable Pictou County. Heard a lot of rain last night, and it is dul dull dull this morning.
Sure glad it's Friday though....
Went out for dinner last night with our friends that some of you may have met on a recent CM cruise, Donna & Wayne, or as she's known on here, "Cruwysie."
Donna & I met in Gr. 5 when we were 10 years old, and our friendship has lasted over 45 years. As they say, "The Best Antiques are Old Friends"....
Well, must get ready and be off for my aquafitness this morning. Never made it there yesterday as I went for a blood test first and waited way too long.....
Todd, hoping to hear you are hanging in there!
Good Morning!! We are actually expecting heavy rain and a bad Haboob today!! High of 81 degrees. I am looking forward to the rain!! I hope it does what they say, we could always use some rain here in the desert! There is nothing better to me than sleeping while it's raining, and that is exactly my plans for today until I have to come back to work tonight. Have a great day everyone!!

Morning all. It's nippy here this morning but no rain. My senior is taking the day off of school. She is going to start work on finding scholarship money for next year now that she's gotten into the school of her choice. I hope to work in the house this morning and laze around this afternoon. Don't know if it will work out, but we'll see. Have a great Friday all.
Good morning from a frosty Texas, where we have surely cooled off.
Jim is taking the dogs to be boarded this morning, so that we will be free to go on our trip. He was going to do it tomorrow, but he wants to hunt for a few hours, and it wouldn't have worked out time wise.
I will be cleaning, and packing. Things aren't so bad, so hopefully I can be done in a few hours.
Sun is shinning here! Rained a little bit yesterday evening but just enough to dampen the sidewalk. I have managed to get caught up on office work this morning, thank goodness. We are in our last day of dog sitting. The little guy has been so good and even gotten along with our dog. Tried to add a photo of the dogs, but just can't figure out how to do it.
Todd, it is so good to see you posting and praying you continue to improve.
LuAnne, have a blast in Vegas. Remember, What happens in Vegas - Stays in Vegas! You two deserve the get away.
RD, looks like you were enjoying your visit with your friend. Loved the pic.
Had a good night's rest but had some problems this morning. Didn't evolve into anything major though, just some rather severe dizziness. The first thing that popped into my head was, "Oh hell, not AGAIN!"
Turned out I think it was a result of the massive doses of various medications I am now taking that number about 16!!!! Many are new. nonetheless, discretion being the better part of valor, I'm carrying around my remote for my ICD just in case.
Last time I checked it's supposed to be decent weather here this weekend but today is raw and overcast. I really need to get out on the lawn tractor and chop up the leaves and the last growth of grass. Don't think that's in the cards, however, for at least a week or two. I do want to get it done before it gets to the point folks are going to start looking for an overstuffed sofa on the front porch. Those familiar with the Appalachain region will appreciate that statement.
Hope everyone has a fantastic region and it's so good to see a picture of Cruwsie!
Have a ball in Vegas Jim and Luanne and yes Luanne, I love you too!
Prayers and Blessings continue per usual.
