Morning Mates, can't complain this morning, nothing like beginning your work week on a Tuesday!
Our weather has been unseasonably warm lately, expecting up to 15C or 59F. It is raining lightly, but at least it's not that other stuff...
This morning I am off to my aquafitness class, which I really miss when I can't go. Then it's off to work for the first time in a week. My co-worker informs me that the kids were really good while I was away. Wonder if it will continue when I'm back....?
Morning mates. It's cool and rainy.I hope to have a cozy day in with dad today because the rest of the week is going to be busy. It's quiet so far. My daughter is off to school, although she would rather have stayed in bed. Can't say as I blame her. It's one of those days.
RD, I hope the kids are good for you.
Trip, if you find a chef and he or she has a friend, please tell then you have a friend in need.
Went to Red Lobster last night and had wonderful meal.
Awoke about one-thirty this morning with weird symptoms. Although I wasn't suffering any of the stuff normally associated with Diabetes, after finding my BP normal, I took a diabetic test. The number was 31. I started eating peanut butter right out of the jar. A half hour later it was a more respectably 62 and I was feeling better. Just checked it again and I'm alright at 93.
Because of the (hopefully temporary) pumping reduction capacity of my heart, I have put on a ton of water weight. But I have to walk a fine line taking the Lasix because if I take too much, I'll again start losing the electrolytes and that's what caused me to drop dead. If that ever happens again, I hope it's at Walmart. That'll give 'em something to really talk about!
As I feel as If I've been hit by The City of New Orleans out of Chicago, I'm going to take my meds and go back to bed. Two of the magnesium pills alone are as big as a Pullman car but as they say in New York, "Youse gots to do what youse gots to do."
It's an overcast day here in upper East Tennessee with rain in the forecast and even more rain tomorrow. I can't think of a better day to just "veg out." Will check back in later. I'll take my major Lasix dose when I'm more cognizant (something I've never been accused of being much of anyway).
Love to all and hope you'uns have a great day! Naturally, Blessings and Prayers continue as always.

Good Morning CruiseMates!
It has indeed been an insanely busy time this past week. But much has been accomplished. I just need a little break in the action... but I don't see that happening for a while.
I can't recall if I shared about the German Exchange student I became very close with. She was having a lot of issues and conflicts with her host family here, so she and I started spending time together to give her a bit of an outlet. I am pleased to report that she has since been transferred to a new host family in Michigan and is doing well. It is wonderful to hear that she is happy and doing well.
D/H is in Europe this week. On Thursday last week I was contacted by a client in Belgium asking if he was available to teach a class this week. Somehow it all came together and Saturday I drove him up to Chicago, dropped him off at the airport and classes started yesterday. All is well. The bonus is that he will get to see his relatives that he has not seen since his Sister's wedding in Holland way back in 1991. He is excited about that. So it is just me and the kids this week and on Friday I am taking d/d to Peoria to see Buddy the Cake Boss. I bought the tickets back in June as a birthday present to her. She is very happy and wants to spend the night there, then in the morning we can buzz up to Chicago again and pick d/h up from the airport. Then we'll have a few days of peace and quiet and we will pop up to Canada during the American Thanksgiving holiday. On the way we intend to stop off in Michigan and see our exchange student. D/H's Mom has had a couple of minor setbacks with vertebral compression fractures, which are quite common for someone with her type of cancer since it compromises bone. She had surgery on one a few weeks ago and will have another in the next week if all goes according to plan. It is unfortunate they had to cancel their Hawaii cruise Nov. 22, but I am hoping they can reschedule it for next year. They decided they needed to simplify their lives and sell their big house and move into a condo, so they have been selling off their excess stuff and downsizing in preparation to move in January. That is a difficult transition under normal circumstances, but they seem to be making the most of it. We will pitch in and help get some stuff done for them during our next visit.
I have been procrastinating on planning our January cruise. I really haven't had the time or energy to put into it. I think after Thanksgiving I may dig into that a little deeper... I am so going to need that cruise, by the time it gets here... I keep having to remind myself it is only a couple of months away.
I hope all is well with each of you. Special prayers still going up for Todd and his family.
Morning from the Pacific Northwest..........baby it's cold out............34......that sure came fast........
Trip.......I was gonna say if ya find a chef.....lend him please.......but as I was reading your message.....I hear this....breakfast is served........Larry is soooo sweet.....he made breakfast........
Not too much happening today......just staying warm.....
Not too much going on for us. We are still shopping for furniture and making some minor improvements to our house. We have to do it right because this will be our permanent residence.
I wish you all a nice day and hope that those feeling poorly will get better quickly.

Good morning! It's overcast and chilly. Overcast doesn't mean much this week and chilly just means it's winter.
Nothing on the agenda today except finish the laundry. Keith has a coupon for two free lunches at Mimi's.
And speaking of chefs, I could use one, too. It certainly would be refreshing. The Los Angeles Times is offering to to send out a team of people, including a dietician, to clean out the kitchen cabinets and frig of foods that are bad for you. They will also show you healthier things to replace them with. Sounds kinda scarey to me.
Thank you Luanne. It is a difficult thing, but I am proud to do it for him.
Judy, I would be scared for them to come to my house right now. When I took dad I gave up trying to eat healthy. Exercise is pretty much out of the question, too.
I just got back from work; as typical, for this time of year, business is slowing down. As with many areas of country, it was unusually warm in Virginia Beach; the temp hit almost 80 degrees. I had to pull out a short sleeve shirt. Less than three weeks looms for the cruise that Rob and I are going on to the Southern Caribbean; time just can't go fast enough. Hope everybody had a great day!
We are about 10 minutes from Flagler beach. You and Jim are welcome to come for a visit.
