Morning Mates, it's a sunny Saturday in Pictou County, although the temp is sitting at 0C! Brrr....
Nothing exciting on the agenda today, maybe some outdoor Christmas decorating if it warms up a little, then tonight it's Trivia Night at the pub, if my poor hubby feels better. He has been battling a nasty cold all week and today has hardly any voice.
Continued prayers and good wishes go out to Ray & Todd, improved health to you both!
Another quiet Saturday monring in Huntsville. It looks like Arlene will still be in Orlando for a while; yesterday, one of the nurses at the rehab facility dropped my mother in law on the floor landing on the knee of the leg where she has the broken hip; so much for no weigh on the leg for four weeks.
Then, last night, I learned that my father went to the hospital for observation; probably going to have a pacemaker put in Monday or Tuesday. He is in pretty good spirits but will have a boring weekend in hospital.
Me, there is always college football, final matches of the Presidents Cup, and Homestead. I will put off until hearing from the doctor on Monday any decision on flying to LA.
Hope everyone has a great weeked and enjoys the last weekend before Black Friday.

It's another cold morning in the Tidewater area of Virginia. Not much on the agenda today; Rob and I are going to take the Tide (public transportation in this area) to go to downtown Norfolk later this afternoon to shop and eat dinner in downtown Norfolk). In four days we head up to Maryland and northern Virginia for Thanksgiving. May all you are not feeling well get better and everyone have a great weekend!
Got up at about five-thirty. It was 20 degrees F outside and that is really cold for this area. Today it's supposed to get into the upper fifties.
I'm sick and tired of being tired and run down so I figured I'd do something about it. I got up, had my coffee, forced myself to do a smidgen of housework, read the paper (ours isn't published on Sunday so it is, in fact, the Sunday paper) and then, not unexpectedly ran out of gas. So I slept for an hour or so then got up, stripped the bed, put in a load of laundry, got my shower and got dressed. Now I'm wiped but did things in a manner that I can't go get back into bed because the sheets are in the washer and although yes, I have plenty of other sets, waiting for these prevents me from remaking the bed right away! Now I'm working up the energy to get to the grocery and get the hell out of this house!
I'll certainly be ready for an early night tonight.......hopefully not on a bare mattress!
Love you LuAnne and tell the neighbors to hide their pets!!!! Dead-eye Jim might go through withdrawl.
Marc, sending you the best for both your mother-in-law and your dad.
Sharon, it's going to happen sooner or later, right? But maybe you'll get lucky and it'll hold off awhile longer, say until April?
Hope James can make it to the pub tonight for Trivia, Donna. At least there he can always get some non-prescription prescription medication and if it doesn't cure his cold, he won't notice it.
Have a great evening in Norfolks, Balabusta. they have some great restaurants in that town.
And remember Marc, there's two races, one this afternoon at 3:00 EST plus the cup series tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.

Not much on my agenda, either. Will have a cuppa coffee and a small breakfast. Keith has long gone to Riverside and the Wright Flyer Project. That leaves me free to do house work or loaf. Right now the latter seems like a good choice.
Afternoon all. I am off to a busy day. I feel like a heard of galloping turtles though. Well, I hope everyone feels better. Todd, I know you are tired of being cooped up, but please don't overdo it. Have a good day all.
G'day cruisemates! Another gorgeous day in "the valley", with temps heading to the mid 70s.
Mrs. Kuki had picked up an electric grill yesterday (because our condo patio is covered, PHX law does allow any device with an open flame, like gas grills, or even charcoal). Plugged it in last night and it began to spark and smoke... so that's not that great a sign
This morning I took it back for a refund, but they convinced me to try another one. Plugged it in, in the shop, and it didn't spark and smoke, so we'll see. Though I told the store if any problems developed, I'd be returning again, expecting a full refund.
So, we'll be grilling some burgers tonight, and see how it goes.
Now, just hanging around waiting for my sister to call, and we'll meet up for a lunch date.
Just watching a guy in a kilt on the golf course in front of me. The patio perch is a great spot for entertainment
