What Happened To Wednesday?

Here it is after 11:00am and no one has opened up a morning thread?

Guess we have to call in The Sarge!

"Whazzzamattah, you think this is a holiday? Well, the only holiday you're gonna' be celebratin' is latrine duty and potato peelin'!

Now get your keesters in gear and get the hell up and accomplish somethin'! I'm gonna' too, damn it, I'm gonna' go back to bed!"

Geesh, bringing him out of the box was a tad drastic but I guess somebody had to do it.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Hump Day and remember, New Year's Weekend is just around the corner!

Well, it will take the Sarge to get Keith out of bed! It's bright, sunny and due to be a warm day. The Pasadena city fathers are saying that it's going to be a gorgeous Rose Parade week.

I have a list of things to do today with coffee and breakfast to start it off.

I'm late getting online today as I have had a rough several days. Christmas with the family was fun but D/H and I had a cloud of sadness this year. On Sat. morning one of my best friends and D/H's golfing buddy passed away. He had that terrible c word but beat the time frame the Dr's gave him. He hung on for over a year when he was originally told he had 3 months. We attended his funeral this morning so my eyes are swollen from the tears. I know he is in a better place but boy will we miss him. We have such great memories of double dating when we were in high school, going to sporting events, and just plain hanging out and having fun together. I will hold the memories forever.

And in Samoa today they are about to completly bypass Friday and go straight to Saterday from Thursday.
