Default Snowy Monday

Morning Mates, it is snowing and blowing quite heavily here this morning, despite the fact they are calling for mere "flurries". Looks to me like we will have enough snow by this afternoon to go sledding again....but that is good because it will keep the little rotters out of trouble....

Yesterday I tried a couple of Epsom salt soaks, and during the day kept my arm snugly held in a Tensor bandage and it really seemed to help.
Did too much typing though, trying to get my review started, and that aggravated it.
Here's a sample of the many photos I've been loading to go along with the review...

Looking at the snowfall today, I wish I was still in the beautiful Caribbean!

Good morning mates. Not much going on here yet. I almost don't know what to do with myself as dad does not have an appointment! There is always plenty of housework.

Donna, I hope love the picture and am looking forward tot he review, but I don't want you to hurt yourself, either.

Have a good day all.

G'Morning Mates! It's currently 53 degrees, F. here in lovely downtown Lakeland, Florida, and VERY foggy. Glad I don't have to hit the road to the office! Forcasted to be near 75 degrees later! Donna, you and James look GOOD in that first photo. We're looking forward to reading your review of your cruise on the "Equinox". Looks like a relatively quiet day today. I have rehearsal with the Lakeland Concert Band tonight. That's always very enjoyable, and I have to read the opening dialogue to the theme from the original "StarTrek". Can't wait to say,,,"To Boldly Go, Where No Man Has Gone Before"! I've always been told that I have a voice for radio.....,,,,Oh wait,,,,,I've always been told that I have a FACE for radio!

Good morning everyone from a cool, rainy, Texas. We are due for rain all day, and part of tomorow, which I don't think anyone will complain about.

Today begins a very busy week for us. We leave for Ok on Sunday for a month, and I need to get the house ready for us to be gone for so long.

Donna, I can't help but think that your job is hurting your body. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

I hope that all of you have a good day.

Luanne

Hi Kids,
Not an unpleasant day here,a blessing in January for sure. Can't ask for more.

I am going to start a project...I am going to make recipe books for my kids, with old handwritten recipes of my Mother, with pictures of her dispersed throughout, and, then, add some of mine, to make a nice book, with some good, old recipes, will be passed on. Having a printer hubby, will help, just have to figure out where and how to begin it all.

Make it a good one.

Good morning all. First day back to the office after the knee surgery and all went well. Well nearly all, discovered to my horror at 4 am that I was out of shaving cream.

Should be a fairly quiet day as I am allowing my colleagues to gradually discover I am back in the office . May take some of them weeks.

Hope everyone has a great day!!!! I would much rather be seeing this outside of my window though:

Gloomy, rainy day here in NW GA. Haven't seen the sun since Friday.
Had my early morning PT and breakfast at Waffle House.
Hubby is on his way to work, just be 3 hours late 3 mornings a week and he has to take tomorrow off for my eye doc visit.
He said he will rest at work as he has done all the housework, laundry and cooking for the last 2 weeks.

Luanne, my grandson is having some type of school at Tinker Air Force base, he is in the Navy.

Good to see you Luanne.

Trip, that is very thoughtful.

Sharon, hope the laundry won't take too long.

Didn't leave the 'puter last night 'cause I thought I'd screwed something up and couldn't figure it out. Was so "into it" I didn't know how much time had passed and first thing I knew, the sun was up! Finally just dropped everything and went to bed.

Came out a few minutes ago and the mess was still there so I figured, "What the hell" and did a reboot. Problems solved! Now you know why I usually refer to myself as "The Village Idiot." Embarrassing to say the least!

Hope everyone has a grand day and of course Prayers and Blessings continue.

Good Morning cruisemates! Reporting in from my patio perch, coffee in hand, sun shining brightly on my face. It's moments like this that make me thankful of my retirement from the work-a-day world.

Yestday we attended the 2nd birthday of my youngest grand nephew, and got the opportunity to see all the "clan".

Today I have a golf game on tap, with temps expected to hit 70. Beginning tomorrow, and for the next two weeks, there's a stretch of temporary visitors coming to town, and life gets pretty busy again.

I have to remember to be very thankful for the lifestyle I current live in. Life's problems don't disappear. But the continuous ability to break away and escape things for a day or two here and there certainly does help deal with them.

Good "early" afternoon to everyone:

I too had a late night. Not because of computer problems but because I did a bit too much yesterday and paid for it by having a very sore knee last night. Maybe, I shouldn't have opened the brace to 70 degrees. Oh well: After six hours of sleep the knee feels pretty good and I'm up and about. I think part of my problem is how the brace presses on the tibia and the sciatic nerve. I can loosen it up but then it slips down and/or rubs my skin raw. Oh well, just another day.

Doug: Glad that your healing is going well and you are back to work.

Donna: Happy birthday to Jess.

Trip: I can see the entire collection of "Triplet Stewart" cookbooks going on sale very soon.

I hope everyone has a great day and fantastic week.

Take care,
Mike
