We had one on a Mexican Rivera cruise a few years ago. She was super impressive when she did her talks. I'd gladly go on a cruise if she is the Capt.
I'm pretty sure it was the Monarch of the Seas.
We had a cruise on board P&O's Artemis a couple of years back with Captain Sarah Brenton - P&O's first female Captain.
I've not heard of any more with P&O since though.
Alan.

I would be surprised were there not to be several females occupying Environmental Officer positions. In fact, I think there was one on the Explorer but I can't be sure. She did have on what looked as if it were an officer's uniform. I noticed her simply because on a scale of one to ten she was about a "ten." Okay, okay, so I'm a sexist but at my age I have that right (or at least admit to it).

Are there any female ship officers other than captain ,Purser and CD ?
In 2007 while on the Celebrity Mercury, I received an invitation to a private party with the Senior Officers.
During that event I met a young lady who was in charge of guest relations.
Much to my surprize ( and hers ), it turned out that she was born in the same little town as I was.
She had never met a person from that little town in Portugal while she was an officer on a ship.
I had breakfast with her the next day and we still keep in touch.

Again P&O seem to have a good record here. Even going back to our first cruise years in the 90's we had one excellent female CD called Christine Noble, she was very passionate about the ships, and read out a wonderful 'eulogy' when MV Victoria (Ex-Sea Princess) was sold.
Then a few times we have had one called Sally Sago.
We have met several 2nd & Senior 2nd bridge officers on P&O and Princess ships.
Many of the pursers dept. on P&O ships are female, and a few Restaurant Managers as well.
There must be lots more, we've just not met them yet
