My five favorite (not saying best made, just my favorites) are:

1. 12 Angry Men (can watch over and over)
2. Roman Holiday (don't know which is more beautiful; Audrey Hepburn or Roman sites)
3. Barbarella (becuase Jane Fonda probably cringes anytime it is brought up)
4. Brother Sun, Sister Moon (great story and great Donovan soundtrack)
5. Gran Torino (only recent movie I have paid to see three times)
