Default RD Home and Recovering!

Hi everyone, it's really me, back home where I belong. Thank you all for the heartfelt good wishes.
So, CT results show that I was suffering from Diverticulitis, worse than ever before, so I am now on the list for a colonoscopy in the near future...
Meanwhile, I had no food, not even liquids for 2 days. The most I got was a 1/2 cup of ice chips. Not a nice way to lose weight!
After a morphine drip and IV antibiotics I was feeling much better, but had to wait on the results till my Dr. came in this morning at 7:30. He said I could go home, stick to a liquid diet and take my antibiotics. Best part is, while I was there, he also gave me the cortisone injection in my hip that we had scheduled for early March, so now I have no more arthritis/bursitis pain in my hip in additon to no more belly pain!

I've had a good hot shower and thrown all my clothes, including my jacket, in the washing machine in hopes of killing any germs I picked up in the hospital (Noro Virus in rampant there as well). I've manged to keep some soup down, and am now going to take a much needed nap after 2 nights of no sleep. Seeya later!

It's great to know that you are feeling better. Now, you can go out and shovel snow.

I'm glad you are home so that you can rest. There is no rest in the hospital.

Not far from the truth Paul, we are expecting snow tonight into tomorrow, up to 15 cms....
You can be assured I will NOT be picking up a shovel, I can barely pick up my feet at the moment!
