It appears that the Southeast will be pretty warm today and then the storms arrive tonight, some of them heavy. It's getting to be that time of the year in this part of the country and most of us who live here take heed. This county never had tornadoes (everyone assumed we were protected by the mountains). What happened (7 dead and millions of dollars of property destroyed beginning within a half mile or so of my house reminded me that one must never "assume" anything. Break the word down into three sections a space between the "s" and the "u" and another space between the "u" and the "me" and the answer is obvious.
Am getting out summer shirts and slacks (if I can find where the girls put them) in preparation for the Epic cruise with Ray in just about a month. Gosh, how time flies!
This Saturday Kari's Heart Foundation kicks off it's Tri-Cities Got Talent contests in Johnson City. Even though I can't do a fraction of what I could do a year ago I'm still gonna' do whatever I can to help. Sadly, I'll miss the next one held for the first time right here in town at Tusculum College as I'll be on the cruise. BTW, it is officially tied into America' Got Talent and the Network has a representative there to make sure all the rules are followed. The winner of the finalists (the show is at the big Paramount Theatre in Bristol) goes to Atlanta but they don't have to wait in the awful long line. They're taken right in.
Hope everyone has a great day and prayers for all of you on the list accompanied by Blessings upon all continue.

GREAT to see your post Todd. It sounds as though you're doing O.K., and we're happy about that, because the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) and I were just wondering how you were doing.
Those storms are indeed scary! At least here, in Hurricane Land, we have some warning that it's on it's way, but with a Tornado, that isn't the case. Hope you, and your property survived the weather last night!
We just returned from our cruise aboard "Legend". Lots of fun, and GREAT seat mates at our dinner table, but a couple of things that have gone "down hill" for me on the "Spirit Class" ships. Still, all in all, a REALLY fun cruise. Wish y'all could have been aboard with us.
We had some rain this morning and last night, but now the sun is out and we are expecting 80 degree weather this afternoon.
I will be leaving shortly to pick up my son ath the airport. He will be here until monday. He wants to experience some Florida hospitality.
