I just packaged up our passports to be sent in for renewal. We are stuck in the country for the next month or so. I cannot runaway to Cayman Islands if the law comes after me. Worse, I will be down to a 52 page passport instead of the 76 pages we have had for many years. Also, I will have to memorize new passport numbers.
Oh well; we have a new challenge to fill up another passport.
