Hi Kids, Glorious day here,Just wishing I felt glorious..these lingering colds, just drain you. I'll be inside though, ironing and packing, We had a nice Epic chat last night, Nancy Bogert joined in our enthusiastic chit chat.
I watched Donna sailaway yesterday, but not many close ups of the Ruby, the first ship out. Of all the ships, the Allure had shoulder to shoulder people lined up to wave.
Here is a pic of Addi...my great great grandaughter.me & Ray, are old lol! Make it a good one.
Trip, with her book & tea!

Good morning Trip and all who follow. Trip, Addi is a beauty. Yeah, I got the webcam up yesterday and the Ruby was already halfway down the canal! It figures it was the first one out! Oh well! I was waving like a fool anyway as it looked like a Princess ship. When I saw the back it said Ruby, so I knew for sure. It also had that birthday sign to someone. Seems rude to give someone a sign. I'd rather have a cruise.
The kid is off to school and I'm having my quiet time. I've got calls and paperwork to do today, along with the usual chores. At least the rain has stopped. Dad has felt better the past several days, which is good. I'll call mom this evening to see if she's heard anything from the doctor.
Good morning everyone. It is a wet start to the day here with temps to be rising all week long. Wed. they are saying it could be in the high 70's! Had a busy last week with lots of Dr. appts for Mom & me, and of course several square dances. This time change has my internal clock off, it will take me a few days to adjust.
Trip, what day do you sail out? I would like to find the webcam to watch you sail out. That baby is one beauty! Bet you just squeeze her when you get the chance. Hope you guys get to feeling better b/4 your cruise.
Todd, belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I missed it and am sorry. Hope it was a good one and you are feeling better. Just waiting on the Todd & Ray show to start.
Everyone have a great day.
The weather here in the Northeast is quite pleasant. I certainly hope that it continues at least for the next two weeks. Then we will be going back to Florida.
Have a nice day everyone.

We do not have sunshine, very gloomy but at least it is not cold.
I have got to get busy and book a cruise because you all are making me jealous. Just need to get this shoulder working properly first. Had a 2 1/2 hour PT this morning and I feel pretty good, just a little sore.
Good morning! Nary a bit of sun and chilly, definitely sweater and/or jacket weather.
I am having a problem with the time change. I don't recall having trouble with it before. Maybe it's age related or maybe it's just coincidental that I couldn't get to sleep. Or maybe it's that creepy book I finished last night. No more of those!
Back after another morning of running for bloodwork and hospital records. Dropped off scan CD to vascular doctor and waiting to hear if I need another procedure or two to help with these clots. Family doctor already called with bloodwork results and upped the med. So not enjoying all this extra running and headache!
DD#2 gave me a few fits last night. Just a couple of off hand comments and I, again, got very little sleep. I feel bad about having this all going on with me while prepping for the shower and wedding, but it is not like I planned this to ruin her life!
DH went with me this morning. Glad to have some time with him, even if it is doing something I am not happy about or with. At least we could talk and spent some time together (quality - ).
The sun is really trying hard to peek out of the clouds. Upper 50's today and rain earlier. Just fits my mood!! Oh well, we are also to get warmer this week and into the 70's. Hope that helps the mood.
Have a good day all and hope all needing to feel better!
I need to check out the webcams. Those sound kinda neat.
Semi-nice day here in south Texas. Just checked in with docs office and seems we have just about every duck in a row for surgery. I am making progress in getting my house ready, getting bills organized so that I can get to them easily to pay, etc. Mom has a walking device for me (two different kinds of walkers if i decide I want to use one). Loaded up on books and periodicals at the book store yesterday as I really do not want to watch mindless TV while recovering. I'm not sure how I would feel about holding one of those new fangled electronic things and reading from it (Kindle). I kind of enjoyed being in a real book store milling around with old fashioned book worms. Just to put a point on it, I had my new glasses on. As I stood eyeballing the Travel section, one of the employees started offering up where to find the "Texas" section. Now, if I'm already in Texas, why would I want to travel here?? I've been all over this state..I want to travel to NEW places. So while recovering, I will be dreaming of what I usually do..Travel (outside my own state, thanks).
Well wishes and Bon Voyages to those about to take off on a spring cruise!!!
