This is strange, opening two mornings in a row but I'm up early so......
It's back on the road again as my vehicle's "Check engine light" came on again yesterday afternoon. Don't notice any change whatsoever in vehicle operation. Last time they changed the EGR valve but evidently that wasn't it. Originally took it into the local Mazda dealer and I actually read the report which was "Suggest replace EGR valve." I've never heard of a computer "suggest" changing anything.....I thought they told you what the problem was. Anyway, I have to have it fixed a second time and I haven't even owned the vehicle long enough to even learn all the bells and whistles. Have discovered that even though it's a 4 cylinder, with the turbo it will develope 244 horsepower which is far more than sufficient for my requirements. I also find it handles extremely well for a crossover and is fun to drive although it has almost 50,000 miles on it, looks inside and out as if it were made yesterday.
My older brother is having angioplasty today prior to moving back to Europe on May 1st so I'll kill two birds with one stone. Hopefully they'll fix the car and I'll be able to go to the hospital with him and other family members for moral support. To him of course it's a pretty big deal but having had about six of the damned things and three stents even before I started with the Implanted Cardioverter Defibrillator which has recently had plenty of use that's kinda' like going in for a hang nail. Uhhh.....guess I could use a better phrase than the , "Kill two birds" one but you get my drift.
Been having a lot of trouble recently with my diabetes so will ensure I leave early enough to stop and have an Egg McMuffin so I guess I'd best hop to it. Do so hope they fix the car today because I'm really starting to like my first crossover. At least it's easy to get in and out of the thing.
Wish everyone a good Tuesday and will let you know the results of both my brother's and my car this evening.
BTW, the only two "on Broadway productions" I've seen are "1776" decades ago and of course "Cats." Throughly enjoyed both but then again, I'm not a "theatre" type so I guess you have to take that for what it's worth.
Prayers continue for those on the list as of course do the Blessings on all.

Thanks for starting us up this morning Todd, since I don't have to be at aquafitness early today I was trying to sleep in, until I heard the unmistakable sound of last night's dog dinner being hacked up on the bedroom carpet....
NOT the most pleasant wake-up sound...
Anyway, it is a bright, sunny and much warmer day here in Pictou County, already 15C or 59F, and supposed to hit the 20's or 70's F.
I will be hitting the pool later this morning, then work, then tonight it's TOPS for weigh-in, followed by a special Volunteer Appreciation Night thrown by the Town of Pictou to honour all the town volunteers of the past year, including our very large contingent of Ship Hector volunteers. Free food and drinks, sounds like a good time!
I too am "on the road" this morning. As soon as my Queen is out of the shower and dressed we are off to the doctor's office and then to the Sheriff's office. Betty is getting some blood drawn and then she needs to get those outstanding warrants taken care of.
Seriously: I just need to file some papers at the Sheriff's office.
I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.
Donna: I've always wondered. Where's "The Bad Ship Hector"?

Just a quick fly by to say HI!!! (Todd I got your message and I intend to give you a jingle this week. Forgive me, I have been overwhelmed by taxes and getting my footing with this new show in Nashville).
Today I am going to Indy with my Sis to her follow up with the foot/ankle surgeon. She had the same surgery a few months ago, that I had done. I am looking forward to seeing her progress and to visit with my favorite Doc for a while.
Not much else happening here. Hugs and kisses to all. Gotta run my taxes to the post office, then off to the big city!
Good Morning cruisemates! The hot temps of Arizona are turning into a distant memory for me. Today I'll see a high of 35 F.
Coming back after almost 6 months made me realise my house here is falling apart. Think we have to spend the summer planning a major renovation, then have it done next fall/winter while we're away, since we'd no doubt need to move out.
Today I'll have to begin cleaning out my office. I guess when I left, I left the room in a complete mess. It must have been me, because no one else was in it
Good morning mates. It's still pretty quiet here for the moment. Talked to the doctor's office about one of my dad's meds this morning. Why they needed a discussion before telling the pharmacy to fill the medication I don't know. I've also been listening to dad talk in his sleep. Other than that it's still pretty quiet. I hope everyone has a good day.
Todd, my best wishes for your brother. I hope that your car problems get fixed.
