Because today (May 11) is exactly one year before I board the Sapphire Princess I will give Mom, who booked the cruise, souvenir books about the Getty Center and Butchart Gardens, two places we already decided will be on our itinerary. Although I am going to sail on the Carnival Sensation this year, the Sapphire cruise was booked first to get the cabin I wanted (E721). You can't do better than that!

Are you giving your mom a cruise-related gift this year? Have you ever done that?

Unfortunately my mom passed away . When she was healthy enough to possibly cruise I was 5 years old .
