That is interesting. It also shows what wonderful things happen on cruises.

This is my interesting and amazing fact. I was on my first cruise on Carnival Festivale February 25th 1983, sailed from Miami. My cabin steward on that cruise was Franklyn.
February 25, 2007 I sailed on Carnival Pride from Long Beach Exactly 24 years to the day. Imagine my surprise to find that my cabin steward was again Franklyn.
24 years and 3000 miles away we run into each other once again.

Have been to Vancouver a number of times...Don't remember the name of the gardens I visited but it was stunning...The gardens started because a woman whom was bored because her husband I think use to leave on business trips. The woman started planting flowers as a hobby.

Just dont visit Vancouver when the Canucks win the Stanley Cup...It can get very ugly their.

We've never won one. I think you mean when we lose.

Butchart Gardens is what I think you're referring to which is not in Vancouver, it's on the Island.

Is that on Granville Island ?

( I saw a production of Phantom of the Opera when I was in Vancouver .It was much better than the Broadway offering )

No, Granville Island is just a little spot just out of downtown. Butchart Gardens is on Vancouver Island, just outside of Victoria.

Good to know about Phantom. I've seen it twice in Vancouver but never on Broadway. Wouldn't have minded seeing the London Production!
