It appears today will be another beautiful but warm day around these parts with a high of 87 predicted.
Hope Summer has finally your area for good Rollerdonna.
No plans on tap for this weekend for yours truly other than watching the Pocono race tomorrow, weather there permitting. They recently resurfaced the track and the speeds are up to over 200 mph before backing it down for turn 1. Should prove interesting although I'll probably fall asleep during the damned thing.
Other than that it's laundry day and that's about it I think. Can't wait until I see the pulmonologist on the 20th and have the pressure test. At this point I can't even walk across Walmart without leaning on a basket and that is quite frustrating. Hell, I have to drive down to the mailbox because I can't walk back up the hill!!! It's hell to get old.
Karen called me from Jeff's office to tell me to get back on the Potassium once again and they want me back up there Monday. I think I'll have to rename her The Female Vampire. She's got more of my blood during the last month than I can ever remember and there's no end in sight As it is I'm averaging four naps a day and it's getting ridiculous. But if you can't stay awake, you can't stay awake. Often I'm up for two to three hours usually between 1 and 4 am. I should make use of that time but even then I feel woozy so I either read or sit here at the computer. Yesterday I made it all of 45 minutes between two short naps. Am praying that once I start the C-Pap things will drastically change for the better and most are telling me that will be the case. Time will tell.
Hope everyone is feeling either completely well or at least good enough to enjoy their weekend.
Prayers and a call for Blessings continue.

Good Morning Todd, thanks for getting things started this morning while I lazed in bed much later than usual! The good thing is, that I CAN stay in bed, because I didn't have to get up early with hip pain - it feels MUCH better!
Todd, you hang in there until your next appointment, and I hope this CPAP thingy will help. I hate knowing you are struggling as you are, hope you get some relief soon!
I had a fabulous dinner out last night, with some wonderful friends at a restaurant that could rival any specialty restaurant on a cruise ship, it was THAT fabulous! We enjoyed every bite, the beautiful view by the water, lots of laughs, and "Fraser" the Happy Birthday Bear who came along to sing me a tune.
Today I have no idea what I'm up to, but we will be going to trivia tonight, now it is only once a month for the summer, and this is it for June!

Good morning It's going to be a hot weekend around here with temps in the low 90's. I purchased tickets for a tour at Wrigley Field (Cubs) for D/H’s. I thought that would make a nice little retirement gift for him and it’s a nice thing for he and D/S to do together.
Not much going on other than a quick trip to the farmers market to look around.
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning Todd and Roller Donna and the rest of our fellow cruisemates to follow. I was out there early going to my usual Saturday morning garage sales. I bought a book about touring Scotland where Rob and I will be on our cruise to the British Isles next year. On Monday, Rob and I are leaving for Disney World with our older daughter, her husband, and children. We were able to garden the four day "park hopper" passes on a nearby naval base for $135.50 per ticket since Rob is a retired naval officer in the naval reserve. "Such a deal!" May all my fellow cruisemates have a great weekend.
Good morning from Sunny Florida, ( today is more rainy than sunny ).
I hope that you all have a great weekend.

Good Morning CruiseMates...........Finally a bit of sun has peeked through the clouds here in Lakeland. I have been here working on a few things and doing housework. I think I might just go out to lunch.
Todd I am glad you are seeing the pulmonologist. I know that the cpap will help. For some it is instant relief. I hope it is that way for you.
Donna I am so glad you had a nice birthday dinner. Nice photo of you and James.
Have a fantastic day everyone.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
Good late morning mates. I'm up and going. The dog has had her walk this morning and now all of the animals and the rest of the humans are asleep except for me. Guess I've been doing quiet things. I'll probably read this afternoon.
Another HOT one here in south Texas. Could sure use some rain for relief. I slept late today and then had a healthy breakfast. I wanted to clean out the leaves from my AC outside but by the time I woke up it had to be over 100 degrees outside. Put it off. I bought a very small shop vac at Home Depot to get the job done right.
Moiraine: No worries, I think the "real" price of those watermelons was $5 (still cheap). He was selling them to everyone else for $5. I heard him quoting the price to others..I think he either took a "shine" to me (as Texans would say) or felt sorry for me...And gave it to me for 2.75. Or maybe he was afraid of the pit bull I had on the leash... lmao It is one sweeet melon too. He picked it for me.
Donna: One more time...GREAT PHOTO!!!
I had the local "Poh lease" (police) banging on my door the other day. Scared me to death. Looked outside my peephole and saw the cowboy hat, boots, gun and badge..and went "ut oh..what did I do??" I sighed a BIG relief when I realized he was just looking for my help in locating the driver of a semi truck which was parked blocking most of our street. Apparently he was not pleased with the street being blocked like that. I did, in fact know who was driving that truck too. Hope he didn't get a ticket..Ah yes, small town Texas.
