Default Bruce's Surgery

Hi Kids,
I am home after a long day of waiting. Everbody in the waiting room had some kind of technology to make the waiting easier. Bruce came through the surgery very well, & they got it all. He is giving his nurses a hard time, that's a good sign...lol A big thank you for all your good wishes. He will be home Friday or Saturday.

Default Going home Thursday

Though my treatment wasn't somplete, I'm being discharged today after two weeks. Turns out while servicing the horrendously expensive machine she screwed up the filter that filters the water from the blood. A replacement if almost $1,000 and it should be used (non-stop) for 72 hours. Since I only had a few hours left and to continue beyong a certain point can result in severe health problems, Jeff decided to pull the plug last night. I'm within one pound of goal "dry weight" so it's a moot point.

We'll take it one step at a time.

Hope all who are sick are on the mend themselves.

Finally, thank you so very much for all of your support!

Love,

TDH

Lisa, when I say a hard time, I mean fooling around. I could see before I left yesterday, they already were havingg a good time with him. My thanks to all for thinking of us.

Snorkl..continued thoughts for you, for a speedy recovery.

Todd, we all need you to be back home, and chillin, taking your one step at a time, slowly. Best wishes, and I hope you enjoy your summer, relaxing and gaining your strength back.

Trip--

This is great.

Todd--

So I think I'm hearing that despite the machine screw-up, the overall approach seems to be working. If I'm right, this is great too, even though it may mean some added incovenience if you have to go through it again.

Well, it is good to see Bruce came through surgery well. Also, good to see Todd getting released from medical jail. Even though machine was not working correctly, it apparently got enough of the job done. Take care, guys, and recover quickly!
