This is something we like to do ... watch the Galveston Cruise cam
( GALVESTON.COM: Cruise Web Cam Live from Galveston Texas ) and try to guess the exact time the ship pulls away from the dock You chose a time, that no one else has chosen, and if the ship pulls away on your time ... you win! What do you win you may wonder ... nothing at all! It's all in fun!
My guess is 4:13

Thanks TC for explaining it a bit for the newbies and oldies.
Cloudy today....I'll go later...4:35pm
Did y'all hear about the dolphins when I did the Triumph last month? More than the usual..there were 100's out at the last buoy and did they put on a show. All the way across the wake as far as you could see....amazing.

I saw the pictures you posted of them ... that was way cool! too bad you didn't get a video of it! I love watching the dolphins following the ship out of the harbor.
Oh BTW we have a dolphin that has been living in one of the canals in the Slidell area that was "misplaced" from his family during hurricane Katrina, he's a local icon. He has made national news now, some of you may have seen the story. Well lately people have decided that because he is so curious that it would be fun to "swim" with him You can't fix stupid!" He is an adolescent male that is .... ummmm ... growing up he has a very fond affection for the slow moving boats in the canal, he likes to swim upside down under the backside of the boats and "greet" the ladder think that is below the water surface ( I don't know what you call that ladder thing) I have pictures and video's of him doing this ... kinda "R" to show you on here. But lets just say there was adult beverage involved and several friends & had a good time photographing his affection for the boat

When the Crazies first started SAWP (Sail Away Watch Party), a group cruise was in the works. Lambie kept up with who won each week and the prize was a free drink at the cocktail party on board. Of course, the cocktail party is all you can drink in that slotted time, so it's just all in good fun.
We have several fun things we do to pass the time between cruises.
Since TC already grabbed MY time (heeheehee), I'll take 4:23.
Oh, we also do SIP (Sail In Party)....just don't take guesses. When we're cruising, we still have the SIP - on the dock watching the ship come in. And we change the sailing to SAP (Sail Away Party).
Thanks G, I won't be able to access the computer the rest of the afternoon I thinnk you missed Stitch though, I took her time our should I say "our" time
