Default Webcam Addicts Unite!

Hello, my name is Tracey and I am addicted to Webcams. Now not the ones you may be thinking, but the ones that show my beloved cruise ships! I'm not picky, any cruise ship, any port, just something to make me imagine I'm there and get me through the wait until my next cruise (57 days by the way, but who's counting???)

Right now I've got up the Port of Miami Webcam and Port Canaveral Webcam, but here is a list of my favorites -

Port of Miami Webcam - A Cruise Ship and Scenic Web Cam in Miami Florida
Port Canaveral Webcam - A Cape Canaveral Cruise Ship Web Cam
Port Everglades Webcam - A Fort Lauderdale Cruise Ship Web Cam
Ft Lauderdale Webcam - A Port Everglades and Fort Lauderdale Web Cam
NY Harbor Webcam - A New York Harbor Scenic and Cruise Ship Web Cam
GALVESTON.COM: Galveston, Texas Webcams

Anyone else share my addiction? I know some of my Crazie friends have an affinity for the Galveston ones. Am I the only crazy one who brings these up to help me make it thru my day at work?

I too like to watch the ships sail out, preferably from Port Everglades. I like that they added the Miami and Lauderdale views as well. When you do a full screen image, the Oasis and Allure look like they will sail into your lap!! From NYC, the ships going under the bridge is a great shot.

Have you seen this one yet? the last salute Due to the time change I haven't been up to see any action. This is for the Concordia, getting the ship ready to float out.

Oh wow...that one's kind of eery, but being an addict I will save the link. Seeing her lying there makes me so sad...especially since we sailed on her "sister" ship the Carnival Splendor.

Oh...and that NY Harbor one is what got me addicted! We sailed from NYC on 9/11 and one of our friends on the ship shared the link before we sailed. I just loved watching the ships go past the Statue of Liberty and under the bridge. Then on the day we sailed I made sure to send all my friends at home the link so they could watch us go by! Was really neat to sail under the bridge after watching other ships do it for so long.

I am partial to Galverston web cams. For many years I have been getting up early morning to watch the Conquest and now the Magic arrive in Galveston. Its a tradition for the Crazies to watch the ship come and leave for many years.

That was my first webcam too...before I became a Crazie! Had a friend sail on Ecstasy for spring break and we all watched her leave.

Can't quite make myself get up early enough to watch the ships come IN to port, but do love to watch them sail away!

In March, we stayed at Pier 66 in Lauderdale. From our balcony we watched a few ships come in. A beautiful warm dawn, with a great backdrop.

How wonderful. I'm hoping we'll be able to get a room with a view at our pre-cruise hotel in September.

Pier 66, Embassy Suites, or Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina will be the best.

We're sailing from Miami not Port Everglades though.

We're staying in Biscayne Bay and I know some of the higher rooms have a view (friends of ours could see the ship last time we were in Miami but we couldn't). I'm hoping maybe we can request one, but if not we'll survive. Too bad our flight gets in too late to head to Bayside and watch the ships sail on Friday night.
