Morning billsrobb and all to follow...
Indeed it is Hump Day already, and I slept right through my alarm and so will miss my aquafitness class this morning. Guess I needed the sleep after my busy day yesterday!

Last night at roller derby practice, we learned how to fall (!)

I did NOT try this as I don't have padding yet...

Today will be a "day off" for me, nothing scheduled until the evening shift at the ship, then dinner out afterwards. I plan to go out and enjoy the glorious summer weather during the day!
Todd, I hope you are getting some relief by now...

R/D,

You have to be so proud!

I am wheeling myself around in a couple of office chairs. I have the girls coming in tomorrow but I have always prouded myself on what I've done at the house.

Temporarily that has ended since my fall last week. Though not from me, word has got out that I fell an am for awhile I semi-invalid. "They" have come out of the wood work to check and help me! I feel beyond Blessed.

I am not used to accepting help, always being the one who has offered it. Last night I just lay in bed and cried. I have never had to rely on anyone and now I must. Adelaide evidently put out the call and my "adopted" daughter Chris and her husband were over here in a heart beat. I was so embarrassed that the house had gone so far downhill in a week. They really calmed me down as I can't stand up and do everyday things. I got up at 1am and put the dishes in the dishwasher from my office chair and then did a large load of laundry. I then fell asleep in the chair and didn't awaken until 5:30 in terrible pain so I went to bed for awhile to build up my strength.

I've my second sleep test tonight and Kitty, the wife of the publisher of the paper and a best friend said she'd take me but DeAnna will be here. I can't stop crying because I've never ever been dependent upon others to get things done. I've always been the one to "kick ass and take names" and I can't accept getting too old to do for others. I knew this day would come, just didn't expect it so soon.

Now I must accept the change that I find so hard too do. That still doesn't make it any easier. Thank you all for your support. Normally I don't share such troubles with you but I believe in being honest.

Prayers continue for those on the list and Blessings upon all!

Love,

Greeting from Branson. Having a nice time down here and enjoying some shows. I must admit I'm more of an island girl than a country gal!

Default Wednesday Morning Greetings

Good morning. Another scorcher here.

Todd, it distresses me to hear that you are in such agony. Please have your back checked. Knowledge is power. I am glad, though, that friends and relatives have come up tlo the plate to help. You have helped others; now it's your turn to accept help from others. No shame in it at all. I just want to see all that pain stopped.

I hope my stomach will behave better today as I have things to do.

Have a good day, people.

Judy

Todd

Do you think an Epidural would help your back? I have had those in the past the last one was April 2010.

I am having another one the end of July.

Possibly Billl but I seriously doubt it as I think it's only a result of my severe congestive heart failure. It's really the heart that causes the fall probably more than anything else, the back only takes the blunt. Not only have I always had a bad back, but a couple of times when my ICD went off, it took a Hell of a hit.

I'll certainly mention it though, thanks!

Sorry to hear about your heart problems. I have atrial fibulation myself. I am on blood thiners for this.
