Art Heyman ,a 3 time All American basketball player at Duke University died today at age 71 .
After graduating college he played in the NBA by the NY Knickerbockers . He was one of my alltime favorite players .
In 1996 he opened a bar in NYC named after his daughters .It happened to be arround the corner from where I was working at the time . I went in not expecting him to be there but he was and very gracious to his fans .
One of my SIL's gave me as a gift recently an autographed NBA basketball signed by Art .
