Do you all remember JP going through his "hip-hop" phase and wanting to get out of acting.

I sat through that entire 1:40 documentary last night.

Was it for real or just a joke? I think he says it was a joke, but I saw an awful lot - plus that was in 2008 and his career has been on the skids for over four years now.

Was the "practical joke" worth it?

Did you buy into it?

I guess he does admit the whole thing was just a ruse, but the questions are...

• who was in on it?
• how did they keep it a secret
• why did they think this was clever (because it was really just sad)
• Is it a comment on celebrity as he says?

Or is it more of a comment on what a lucky jerk Jouquinn Phillips is and we should envy his ability to pull a year-long joke on the American people?

Wanting more attention and having diverse attempts backfire hurt you. He had some good roles and hopefully he can endure the strange, weird and disastrous career move he thought would be funny?????

David was NOT in on the hoax . The 2 head writers of the show are sons of one of my friends .
