Makes me sad.

I have been a fan since the days of Dobbie Giillis.

He is missed.
I grew up on Gilligan's Island.
You realized he died 7 years ago.

Does MSNBC have egg on their face? I just looked at: findadeath.com, and here is the quote:

On Friday September 2, 2005, we lost Gilligan himself, Bob Denver. He died of pneumonia, but he had cancer of the larynx. He had a history of tobacco (wacky and otherwise) use.
He was hospitalized in the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, in Winston Salem.

I thought this was an old thread resurrected by some spammer or someone adding more information. I was surprised to see it was new, but inaccurate.

We'll have to let MSNBC know that Lindbergh made it.

Take care,
Mike

Trip, I did not know that Bob Denver had passed away; he was the "original hippie" as Maynard G. Crebbs on the Dobie Gillis show and I just loved watching him on Gilligan's Island as the skipper's first mate. This is definately the end of an era.
