I've had film cameras, digital SLR camera and digital point and shoot cameras. I am hooked on digital. I will never go back to film although I still have my camera. I have a canon DSLR that I used for a couple years. I loved it but the lens I preferred made the camera SO heavy it was hard to carry around on long site seeing trips. Just a few months ago I bought a canon point and shoot, 14MP with a 35x zoom. It has TONS features including some of the same as the DSLR. I haven't had to chance yet to really get out and take pictures but so far I am happy with it. It is so much lighter to carry around.

I have, but have not tried, a product that allows you to process digital photos as if they were a variety of different film types. Some day when I have time

DxO FilmPack Version 3 Expert Edition Software for Mac and Windows
