Waiting for Donna's Pictures and Monday's rains

Can't wait to see what pictures Rollerdonna produces this morning. They've been so cute!

We're scheduled for rain and a lot of it. Truth be told, we could use some even though we're not dry but I'm sure Luanne and Jim would appreciate some although I don't know if they're on the "schedule."

Am off to run some mundane errands so although I don't really want to go out at all, I'll probably be "on the run" today and tomorrow beginning with dropping off my car at the body shop (it was hit in a parking lot and the sign of the person who did it it must have blown off the car ! They'll have a rental for me though. The damage wasn't severe but I'm the type who will not drive a car with the whole corner of the rear bumper pushed in.

Yesterday we visited our friends who also have a new puppy, a Yellow Lab, the same age as Griffin. The two pups got along famously, while the two older dogs enjoyed napping in the corner and being left alone!

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner prepared my frind the excellent cook - a Gruyere and Leek soup, spinach salad, the most delicious Beef and Guinness Pie, and a decadent cheesecake with blueberry sauce for dessert. It was a feast!

Today the sun has come out at long last; it was a miserable dull rainy weekend, so it's nice to see the sun. Way too wet though, to take the kids out to play this afternoon, the school grounds will be flooded...

Off to start another work week, have a good one all!

Work on the bathroom continues I believe the walls and windows go in TODAY.

I have some very unhappy cats as they have to stay locked up in the upstairs bedroom while the workers are here… no amount of catnip is even helping.

Need to start packing for my Tampa trip this Thursday, can't wait!!

Hello all. Had a nice visit with my daughter this weekend. I also finished the books series (or rather I'm up to date) that I've been reading. Now it's time to do some Spring cleaning. I'm dragging my feet. Anyway, Have a good day all.

I am trying to catch up on all the posts.

We flew in today from Connecticut. We went for a week to attend my daughter's wedding and I am very happy to have been able to attend. I am a happy man, I have a great son and two wonderful daughters and now I also a have a really nice guy for a son-in-law.

Hi, all. We await the "big heat" and doing outside stuff this morning. It's very dry so a lot of fire alerts, but I am ever so much more comfortable!

Donna, for a minute there, I thought you had another dog! They're both really cute.
