Bruce is home from the hospital...

Bruce had the hernia surgery today,and is home resting. He said this is more painful then having his kidney removed. I wish he had stayed overnight at the hospital, but, he refused...I will be a good nurse.

Hey Trip.... didn't know Bruce was going in for surgery. Hernias are no fun.

Hope he recovers quickly. Know you will be a good nurse, because you have to be. He's a man, and men are babies when we're sick.

I only was around Bruce for a couple of days but I'd still say that such is probably typical! He's a helluva guy and one who undoubtedly doesn't whine. But then with a nurse such as you Trip, he wouldn't have to.

If the pain doesn't subside enough, there is something out there that rhymes with "whine" of which he might wish to partake!

Hope Bruce feels better fast...my hubby had hernia surgery at the end of September and like you Trip, I was his nurse.

Like Donna says...don't forget to take care of yourself too!! It's easy to forget to do that
