Morning Mates, it's Friday and I have a day off, but I am going to be busier than a work day!
I have a hair appointment, followed by a job interview - yes! a job interview, finally! Will keep you posted on that...
After that I'm helping again with the Y's move into the new centre, setting up the Playcare room. Tonight, we have a get together for all the Ship Hector volunteers, a thank-you party for our dedicated service. Busy busy day...
Today's photo is a little fuzzy, but so special.
While Lucy was in hospital last weekend, Griffin missed her so much, he has been following her around the house trying to kiss her ever since she got home. She in turn, has been tolerant of him, to the point she let him fall asleep on her tail!
I just got finished with All Star Wrestling with my seven year old grandson. His school is out today for teacher's workshop but my granddaughter, who is in Middle School, still had to go.
Now I'm waiting for my nephew to come and we'll go pick up our 360 pounds of deer meat. That is a lot of summer sausage, brats, jerky, steaks and chops. I'm not sure if it will fit in my freezer. I hope so or we'll be taking a drive to my brother's and delivering it early.
Otherwise that's about it on the home front.
I hope everyone has a Fantastic Friday and a Wonderful Weekend.
Take care,
Mike

RD - that picture is so cute! Love that bit of tail sticking out under Griffin's head.
A few weeks back, our DD#2 took "her" dog home with her overnight. My dog, Holly, was lost! DD#2 brought Mia back early the following morning and Holly was a happy little dog! It is funny how they act when someone or something changes their world!
Mike - love deer meat summer sausage - as long as it is done right! Have had some that was really done wrong and it hit the trash!
Am forcing myself to get out of the house as much as I humanly can. I am exhausted just by getting dressed but as I have previously indicated, I have accepted the "new normal." Toward that end, am having lunch today with a dear friend at a local Chinese Buffet to which we're both addicted.
Here's wishing everyone a Fantastic Friday and a Wonderful Weekend!

Good Morning cruisemates! Enjoying my morning coffee on my patio perch and it's already nice and warm here in Scottsdale.
We did a major grocery shop yesterday, and we noticed quite easily, grocery prices here are considerably cheaper than they are at home.
As we drove around town we also noticed far fewer for sale signs on homes than there was a year ago.
Think the plan for today is for Mrs. Kuki and I to see Skyfall. If it happens I'll break my standing record of not having gone out to a movie since our honeymoon.
Good afternoon everyone from a sunny Texas. I am late getting on today. I have been trying to find out more info on the vets killed and hurt last night with the train in Midland.
This same group were to leave there today to go to a deer lease, where they were to spend the weekend hunting and fishing. We are beside ourselves with grief.
Please keep these people in your thoughts and prayers. They have been through so much.
