Morning Mates, there's sunshine out there this morning, but it is also surrounded by big thick rolling black clouds, so we are either going to get more rain, or possibly snow.
Yesterday it rained all day, but was very mild. Not exactly mood weather for Christmas shopping, but that is what I did, drove 1 hr away, picked up my friend, went out for lunch and picked up a few things, two of which were for the doggies....Emma and Griffin each got a winter coat, Griffin because he's so close to the ground, and Emma because her fur is so thin with bald patches this year. I'm thinking they look pretty stylish in their flee-lined, waterproof jackets, don't you?
Later today we are invited to a Christmas Open House so that should be a nice social afternoon with good food.
Wishing you all a great day ahead...
Good morning Donna and all of our friends to follow today. I was awake this morning at 4:30am, which is normal for me on a workday. However, this moring, I hit the snooze button and decided to lay down for another 10 minutes. Did not get that luxury because as I began to lay back down, the electrical power in the entire neighborhood went out and I thought, "Well, God wants me to get my butt up now!!!" So I did.
We are having temps that are 20+ degrees above our normal here. Allegedly, they will drop tonight or tomorrow, we shall see about that.
Have a great day cruisemates!!!!!!!!!
Cruised more times than I can remember.
Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.
Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.
Good Morning Donna, Hez, Michael and to all who follow!
I adore the animals in their new attire, Donna and Hez, I love your wit. Michael, I think your weather is soon to change and Donna, I know yours is as well, to more of how shall I explain it; Christmas format?
Michael, have a safe tour today.
I have a friend whose husband is opening up a BBQ restaurant in town in the near future. He smokes his own meat of course and I am getting at some point, maybe today, a whole smoked boneless pork butt. His offerings are extremely popular as is witnessed by the fact that I never liked pulled pork BBQ until I tasted his. It is so tender and delicious to the extent I wouldn't "ruin" it with BBQ sauce. I prefer it as is.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead of them as the heart of the Christmas Season will soon be upon us all, like it or not.

Good morning everyone. Here it is kind of like the calm before the storm. Later today it will start snowing and overnight change to freezing rain. It will be our first big weather event of the winter and it will not be pleasant for those who have to commute to work tomorrow. Have a great day!
A cold and wintery day around here...yuck!! going to do a little housework and laundry and make my list of Christmas presents that I still need to buy. It seems like the holidays are upon us and I'm still farting around like I have week and week left to get stuff done. Hope everyone has a super Sunday!

Good morning mates. It was raining when I got up and now the sun is shining. I started working on the Christmas cards yesterday and realized I did not have enough. A trip to the store to buy another box is in my future.
Judy, I'm thinking about you. I hope things turn out all right.
Hello from a very wet southern Ohio. It is pouring buckets now as it has for the past several days. Santa is going to have to arrive by boat or cruise ship, if this stuff keeps up! We got lucky on our drive home from Cincinnati last night and hit a break in the rain. Dry roads all the way hhome.
I have a ham in the oven, baking right now. I've got my baked beans, cole slaw and cake done and the potatoes are ready to cook and be made into mashed potatoes for dinner later today. I have the D/D, D/SIL, and 2 grandaughters coming for dinner. They have such a busy day today thought I'd help them out. It starts with church followed by Christmas play practice, then the oldest has her school Christmas concert with about a 2 hour break before she has to be at a basketball game. She is on an all-star team that plays on Sundays which sure keeps her busy. Her regular Saturday team won yesterday which we got to attend. She did a very good job, proud of her. She reminds me so much of her mother at that age. Very atheltic.
Donna, love to coats on the dogs. They seem to like them too!
Todd, that BBQ sound wonderful. Hope you enjoy it all.
Sunday sunshine, indeed, because the fog had been burned away.
We, too, have a partial day of Christmas shopping and we will go to see "A Christmas Carol" in Costa Mesa.
Last year, we didn't send Christmas cards at all. Haven't decided if we will have a tree this year.
Good morning from the chilly Arizona desert. It's 10:30 a.m. and it's still only 56 degrees F! I think our high today is supposed to be less than 70. My poor lupus-wracked body doesn't move too well when there is a chill in the air.
Nothing exciting on the calendar for today, but I'll just enjoy spending the day with Jose. With our opposite work schedules, we don't see a lot of each other. He was gone for 10 days to Costa Rica too, and just got home on Monday.
