Default Monday Stormy Monday

Morning Mates, Monday again and the forecast is for ice pellets, freezing rain and snow. Yeah, that sounds like Monday...

I have a busy day ahead; I've been called in by the place I interviewed with last week to do a "trial run", all morning in the pre-school class, that will be fun!
Then the regular (new school) after school program, followed by a 6:30 pm meeting at the Y, so I won't get home before 8 pm.
All this depends on the weather too, if it gets too bad they'll close the schools, so we'll see.

Meanwhile, here's a photo that says exactly what I'm thinking today.....

Good morning Donna and all friends to follow. Good luck Donna. Houston is much more seasonal this morning. Mid 50'sF and wind steady from the north at 30 knots. We had a heavy rain storm during the night also. Getting down to the freezing level for the next few nights.

Have a great day friends!

Good morning mates. It's seasonal weather here also again. I'm cold. I've not sat down and made out my to do list yet so I don't know what's on the agenda yet. I hope everybody has a great day.

Hi Kids,
Warm & showery here, and I am not complaining at all...our day will come.

I had the nicest thing happen to me at work Saturday. Several months ago, a customer bought a piece of my jewelery, for her friend, that had cancer. We talked of her struggle, and I shared mine with her. I wrapped the gift extra special for her,and wished her friend well, and said goodbye. She came back Saturday, and handed me a box, that her friend, who is not doing well, wanted me to have. Inside was a strand of beads. This woman proceeded to tell me, that the beads were broken, but, her friend knew I could make them whole again. I was so touched to think, that this woman thought of me, I teared up. A random act of kindness makes such a difference.

I am off to lunch with my oldest girlfriend, to play catch up, another blessing, as we are both cancer survivors....I see a common thread for me today...

Make it a good one.

Lakers fan likes Trip's post.

Dark and stormy here but tomorrow it will be sunny and I am meeting a friend for lunch whom I know since 1948.

Still raining here! Temps to start dropping as the day progresses. Say we might even see a flurry or two.
Not muh planned for today. Office work and then housework. Won't have to cook much as we have leftovers from yesterday.

A good day to all our mates.

Good morning Mates! Despite a gloomy weekend and the post-cruise blues, we had a great weekend. The kids and the grandgirls came over to decorate our tree. Now that they are older they are much better at hanging ornaments. Veronica, however, grabbed a bunch of lollipop ornaments and hung them all in the same location, so we had to move them. Veronica is the alpha triplet and had a confronation with Natalie, her cousin, over who owned the tea party set they were playing with. Veronica is not used to opposition from her sisters, so it was fun to watch. When it looked like it was getting physical I called in the Moms and Grammie to settle things.

No cruises on the horizon as we have timeshare weeks to use.

Wrapping the year up at work so I can have a tension free holiday.

Everyone have a great week!

A quick good morning from Southeast Asia. We set sail a few hours late from Singapore and are now on our way to Bangkok. Millennium is in great shape for a twelve year old ship. Having a great time but Internet is hideously slow. I hope to upload a few pictures in the morning. It's 10:40 pm here.

Take care,
Mike

Good Morning cruisemates! Sunny, but a cooling trend setting in for the Arizona desert, with highs today near 70.

A somewhat unintersting day planned for today. Other than renting one of those carpet cleaning machines at the supermarket and running it through our two bedrooms, nothing planned.

At the moment I've just sitting out on the patio perch, drinking coffee, reading CruiseMates, and contemplating how lazy I am.

A friend of ours from Chicago ended up in the hospital here yesterday with a severe colitis attack (OUCH). Mrs. Kuki spent the entire day yesterday visiting her in the hospital.

She called me @ 6PM, on her way home to ask what we were going to do for dinner. I told her, it doesn't matter to me. Whatever you want to cook is fine.

We went out for dinner and my bruise is already starting to heal

Default Monday Stormy Monday

A late good morning to everyone. It's a beautiful day here in SoCal.

We had a nice Sunday doing some Christmas shopping and then attended a sold out performance of "A Christmas Carol." We're going to have to do that again next year!

I am off to the dentist in a bit. Hate it, hate it. It's always expensive.

A nice day for everybody . . .

Judy

Good afternoon all from a sunny, but cold Texas. We spent the weekend in a town called Brownwood. Jim was hunting, and I went along just to get away.

I hope everyone is doing well.
