This morning I think the wolf is trying to blow the house down. I live in a wind tunnel anyway as the winds sweep off the mountains. Today's forecast is for mild temps (it's currently 52) with wind peaks of up to 60 mph. I'll probably have shingles all over my front yard. Then it seques to much colder temps this evening as the cold front passes through this area when the winds will dissipate to some extent.
Hope everyone has a wonderful run-up to TGIF and especially for those who are trying to finish their Christmas shopping, I hope the weather cooperates.

Good morning everyone from a crazy weather, Texas. Last night at 10:30 we were at 75 degrees. This morning we were in the teens. The wind is gusting at 40 miles an hour. I have yet to check the Christmas lights on the outside. Who knows if the are still there.
Yesterday I was able to get the last of my Christmas cards out, so I am officially done. I do need to shop for groceries for Christmas dinner, but that will be a day closer to Tuesday.
Today, I need to finish cleaning out my closet, which I started yesterday.
We are seeing the heavy rain, to get about 1/2 to 3/4 inch of it before turning to snow tonight. The winds are blowing, suppose to get windier, and the temps are in the 40's but to drop to 30's. I am looking forward to the snow (I'd like about 1 inch total, please) without the extra 1-2 inches and the wind (which makes travel a bear!). I am not sure Mother Nature will listen, though!
I have officially finished Christmas shopping and have everything wrapped and under the tree (I hope I have everything!!). We are having our family's Christmas on Sunday. This is what the girls wanted. Pizza (Pizza Hut was our Christmas Eve tradition for years when the girls were little), home to gifts, games, snacking and visiting. Sounded really good to me (no meal to make, etc.) and DH has Sunday night and Monday night off of work.
Not much else going on. I am hoping all Cruisemates have a wonderful holiday and hope all their dreams/wishes come true. In such sad times (events of the last week or so), I am finding it hard to wrap my head around it all, but it is the holiday season, so just trying to continue to pursue and live life to the fullest!
