Welcome Monday, Christmas Eve!

Morning Mates, welcome to a new week, and a busy one for most of us...
My step-son arrived last night after a 17 hr journey from Montreal. He encountered blizzard like conditions, white-outs, fog, freezing temperatures and 2 flat tires along the way. He was a little frazzled to say the least. He brought with him an 8 month old puppy (Cocker-Shi-Tzu mix) who is tearing up the house with Griffin. He is so happy to have a little friend to play with, and Emma is happy because they are leaving her alone!
Here's a pic from last night, I'll try to get one of the other puppy if she ever sits still long enough!


Today's plan is to do some local sightseeing, and it looks like a beautiful day for it. The sun is out, and although we started with a warm green day yesterday, we ended up with a snow storm, so most everything is white and sparkly - Merry Christmas!

Good morning Donna, and all those to follow. It is cold here again. I wish I had known, because we had our windows open last night. It was chilly in here this morning.

We are going to the cem. to visit with Joe, and then home to enjoy being together. I am still not feeling well, so for the first time ever, I won't be doing two days of cooking. I might be able to enjoy things better.

I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and to all others, a Very Happy Holiday.

Hi Kids,
Bright and chilly here, with no snow...fine with moi, and the days are getting longer, so summer is almost here!

I just put the cheesecake in the oven. This recipe was given to me by a fabulous, Italian lady, I worked with, who is a great cook/baker. This is the real deal...has to bake for an hr,and stay in the oven for two hrs! I am resting with a cuppa tea,and will begin the fudge, shortly. Then the prepping of chopping, slicing, & dicing, oh my!

Chinese food for lunch, some more kitchen stuff, then I collapse!

I wish for you, my CM pals, a wonderful Christmas...be well.

Well, i lost my post, so let's try this again.

Good morning. It's cold and rainy here but should clear off by noon. That's a good thing because I have to find a pointsettia for a hostess gift for tomorrow. Keith will fix his delicious Chicken Beaujolais (sp.) tonight.
