Good morning to everyone on this last day of 2012.
We will be heading up to the Great White North and celebrate New Year's at my brother's lake place. We'll do some fishing this afternoon and tomorrow and ring in the New Year at a friend's restaurant. It will be a nice time.
I hope everyone has a great, AND SAFE, New Years and that 2013 is a year filled with love, joy and many cruises.

Hi Kids,
Cold & overcast here..a good day to stay in and read. The snow we got was less than 3 inches,compared to some of the places, not that far away.
Tonight the kids are coming over for Chinese food.. The place down the street is a cash cow...they call you when your order is ready,and you still fight the hoards of people there..glad I don't ride shotgun, to go get it...

Good morning mates. No plans for me this evening. My other half is a police dispatcher and will be working overnight. I'll get to hear about the antics tomorrow. I plan to stay in myself.
Morning Mates, on this very chilly, windy New Year's Eve! We had a good snowstorm yesterday, not the 40 cms they promised, but I'd say less than 10 cms. It changed to rain for most of the afternoon, then back to snow and high winds in the evening, causing a power failure...never a dull moment with the weather in Nova Scotia!
Tonight we are staying in, by choice, and celebrating the New Year tomorrow by having friends over for homemade chili.

We did not get the snowstorm that many other New Yorkers got yesterday .We are going out this evening to a restaurant in one of the beach communities that is gradually coming back to the way it was .
Good Morning cruisemates! A high of 53 forecast for Scottsdale. A little brrrrrr. One yr ago on this date we were suntanning by the pool.
Had to drop off Mrs. Kuki's car (jalopy2) to repair a window that won't go up. So I took my princess to breakfast on the way home. Hopefully Mrs. Kuki won't find out
This evening it's dinner out with a bunch of friends at Fogo de Chao, then back home to countdown to New Year's (at 10 PM.. when the ball drops in NY), because we're at the age that's as late as we can party to.
A late good morning to you all. We're staying at home tonight, as well. Keith will fix dinner. We probably won't make it til midnight, either. If we do, it's most likely because we're watching a movie.
