Formal Night Hawaiian dress poll

Hi all I was thinking for my Hawaiian cruise to wear a traditional Hawaiian Dress on Formal night. So why not do a poll. Pick your favorite dress.

I like Dress A but Dress E is also nice.

Take care,
Mike

I agree both A & E were my choices however for formal dinner I say E. Dress A looks a little to wedding looking to me. I'm sure you will be beautiful in what ever you choose!

Lakers Fan January 3rd, 2013 03:24 PM

I choose E

Trip January 3rd, 2013 03:32 PM

For me, A & E have a more sophisticated look to them. Hawaiin, with a Mad Men twist:) But, I like the black one because it's sleeveless, and more modern..

Audrey Hepburn goes Hawaiin!

Manuel January 3rd, 2013 04:30 PM

I voted for E, because it's classy and it would look great on you.

I too like A and E but think E has the edge.

Donna January 3rd, 2013 07:51 PM

I kind of like "C" the best....

rollerdonna January 3rd, 2013 08:50 PM

As much as I don't care for black in anything, I have to say dress E, because it has the simplicity, yet the elegance for formal night.
The others look too much like sundresses, and personally, I think they could use more colour!

I'm surprised most people picked E. I liked them all. In fact B really caught my attention when I saw it.

I had a hard time narrowing it down. So of the more colorful dresses didn't make the cut. Like the ones below. I'm larger in size sometimes a more colorful dress is not a good idea on me.

I like your message "adopt don't shop." My baby girl Maggie was from the SPCA she is really a sweet dog. People ask me all the time what breed of dog she is. I got no clue, she is like a Terrier on Steroids. My other dog Buddy Boy is what happens when a female chihuahua is heat and gets out of the house. Not sure what Buddy's dad was but he is a clever dog. Someone suggestion Border Collie but I think Spaniel. Buddy was in one home, but they sent him back. The husband didn't want him. So my gardener was trying to find him a home. I agreed to take him.

I really liked that last mauve flowered dress you posted - at least for me!
Loved your doggies too! :)

I like A and D. And as a "person of size" I think those would be the most flattering to our figure!

Lisa January 9th, 2013 02:54 AM

And the more I think about it, the more I like "D". Where did you get that image from? I just may want to buy that dress!

An internet site called Lavahut. I hope that's okay to say. I'm not going to put the link in. I don't want to get in trouble for Spam. I haven't bought anything from there so I can't recommend the place. But there dresses look beautiful. If you do buy one let me know what you think.:D

RD that mauve flowered dress really caught my eye. I wish I used it in the poll. I find the type of print slimming.

Dress A :)

ship2shore January 13th, 2013 06:26 AM

No dress at all would really set the tongues to wagging.
(just a suggestion...)

Hey man I don't want to traumatize my fellow cruises by showing up naked. Plus I reviewed the dress code and they won't let me in the dining that way. Carnival is so picky.LOL

ship2shore January 16th, 2013 12:55 AM

Nope. The dress code rules have been relaxed.

Taken recently on the Carnival Freedom: (try to locate me in the pic...LOL)
