I hope Griffin was able to do his business in all of that snow. I had to shovel out a "poopy spot" for our grand dog to do her business.
Yesterday, I went over to my son's place and did his taxes for him. He has a lot of medical bills this year and other expenses that are tax deductible so he was happy that he'll get a good return.
The downside is that he and his girlfriend both have come down with this nasty flu and look like an episode of "The Walking Dead" and sound like escapees from a TB ward. I did his taxes in his office and used hand sanitizer. I don't want a repeat of pneumonia. To give them some relief I brought Mocha, the grand dog, home with me. She's happy as can be especially because she is spoiled here and gets a few extra goodies but doesn't like it if her dinner is less because she had too many goodies.
We have nothing special on the agenda for today. Just playing with the grandkids and maybe a quick trip to Macy's to get some jeans for my granddaughter. Our version of Snowmageddon is supposed to hit late this afternoon and evening. Starting with freezing rain and then developing into 7 to 10 inches of snow tomorrow. yuck
I wish all of you fighting the Blizzard of '13 the best of luck. Stay warm and dry.

My heart goes out to the people in the Northeast. It will take some time to restore power and get things back to normal.
So far my daughters and my son still have power. They have about three ft. of snow where they live.

Good Morning cruisemates! Good luck to those who have to start digging themselves out from the storm; BE CAREFUL.
I have nothing to shovel here in AZ, but it has cooled down. High today will be lucky to make it to 60,
Going to make the sacrifice and wear long pants, instead of shorts, to golf
The plan is golf this afternoon, followed by dinner out with friend tonight. Got the name of a local restaurant that is supposed to be good, interesting, and very "Arizonan", so trying Harold's Corral.
My mother was supposed to have come down here a month ago with her live in. Visas (from Canadian gov't ) have got screwed up, and I've tired of trying to deal with, so I've now hired an immigration lawyer at home to try and expedite things. I am SO frustrated!
Thoughts and prayers go out to those that were affected by this recent "blizzard". Mother Nature can sometimes be cruel when it comes to the weather. Trip, I have a friend that lives on West Vanston Rd. in Stoughton; I spoke with her this morning and was glad to hear that she did not lose power. She wisely stocked up on canned goods and water. I'll tell you, the older one gets, the harder it is for the body to adjust to these wild temperature swings. Make it a great day, fellow cruisemates and snow, snow, go away!
