Default Sunday and Todd is Back!

Morning Mates, the best news today is that our beloved Todd is back! So glad to hear he is on the mend..

Here in Pictou County we are getting another weather wallop...that's 3 weekends in a row!
Snow overnight, turning to freezing rain then a lot more rain, high winds, then snow again into tomorrow. Looks like it's going to be a storm day off school tomorrow...
Needless to say, we're going nowhere today, hunkering down and praying the power stays on!

My trip to see a psychic show last night was a total bust. He was not impressive, in fact I'd go so far as to say he was BORING and a lot of people left before it was over, including me.
Sadly disappointing....

Good morning Donna and others to follow.

Donna, I hope that you can weather the storm withot losing power.

It is great news that Todd is back. I pray that he gets stronger and stays around for a long time.

To everyone, I wish you a beautiful, peaceful sunday.

TM

Good morning mates. The weather does not know what it wants to do here. It wants to be spring one day and winter the next.

Anyway, I'm back from a trip to my hometown. My mom had a second emergency surgery on Wednesday. That's two in one month. This one seems to have fixed all of her problems.

I've had way too much on my plate lately. I'm going to take the day off and rest I hope you all have a nice Sunday.

Welcome back, Todd.

Good Morning cruisemates! Bright sunshine and temps heading to 75 today in Scottsdale. Have to take advantage as they are calling for another cooling system moving in mid week, so, of course I'm heading to the golf course.

It's a bright, sunny but cold day here in Ottawa and knowing that Todd is back makes it that much brighter.

It is COLD in NW Ohio; only 21 degrees F at nearly noon. But sunny!

Moiraine, so sorry to hear about your mom but glad she is doing better. Enjoy your day of rest and hope all goes well when Mom moves in. Take care.

Glad to see Todd back, too.

Mike M - yes, we were given compensation for our missed cruise. It was the second attempt to get us to cancel, as the first was not worth looking at per our travel agent (1 cruise and 1/2 refund). The second offer was too good to pass up for us! Got a question for you - when you travel, do you use distilled water in your Cpap? My Cpap is pending as they could not get me titrated Thursday night; but DH has a Cpap and since we are traveling soon (first time with Cpap{s}); we are wondering about the water to use in the reservoir.

RD - stay warm and dry and hope you keep your power

LS80, Kuki, Canuckity,Manuel, Laker's Fan and rest of cruisemates- hope your Sunday is enjoyable

Good early afternoon from the wilds of North Dakota. On Friday night we got a wild hair and decided, at 10:00 p.m. to surprise my sister, in North Dakota, with a visit. It is a nine hour trip.

We drove as far as Fargo and at 4:30 a.m. we couldn't go any farther and spent the night in Grand Forks. We arrived yesterday afternoon and will have fun for a couple of days and leave on Tuesday.

Haimia: Yes, I use distilled water at home and on a cruise. Just contact the "Special Needs" department and a $3.25 gallon of distilled water will be in your cabin. I have forgotten to do this a couple of times and just ordered it from room service.

I'll be offline until Wednesday so I hope everyone has a great week.

Take care,
Mike
