Wednesday and Another Storm Coming

Morning Mates, I am getting tired of storms.
Although it is clear at the moment, we are in for some nasty freezing rain, more snow and high winds later today. Should make the drive into work interesting to say the least..

I have a friend who's husband (age 30) fell while skating with his young family on Sunday, and broke his hip. He is in hospital following surgery and she is trying to juggle her full time job, 2 kids and visiting her hubby twice a day. I babysat for them last night, and sent along some Jewish Penecillin (aka homemade chicken soup). Apparently he gobbled the whole container, food being what it is in hospital...
Poor little girl, missing her daddy and her mommy, cried for over an hour before crying herself to sleep, but hey, that is what I was there for....

We have snow coming and I need to head down to Denver today to purchase an excavator. The interstate may be interesting on the way back.

Sorry to hear about your friend. It is good that at his age he will likely heal up fine, but what a disaster for the family! I am sure they appreciate your help.
