Good morning to all. It's going to be a sunny and mild day here as we await the storm coming out of Texas. Tomorrow we are suppose to get a rain-snow mix and it is nice not having to make a commute to work. Hope that Todd checks in to let us know how he's doing 'cause we're thinking of him.
It's a beautiful day outside, with rain tomorrow, none of that ucky white stuff, heading here from the mid west. The good thing is winter is amost over, yay!
Tomorrow I am going to an estate sale appointment, before the woman advertises it. She has 15, eight foot tables, filled with jewelry...be still my heart! She is a historical home, and I cannot wait to see what's cookin there!
Well, Lucy will soon be here, she is such a little fashionista and a girly girl, it makes me smile!
Make it a good one!
Trip, with her book & tea!

Morning Mates, checking in a little late this morning....been to aquafitness and the library already, now I am going to crawl back into my PJs for work! It is Winter Carnival Week, yesterday was Crazy Hat Day, today is PJ Day, then it's Rock Star Wednesday, Coasting Thursday (sledding) and Spirit Friday (school colours). Nothing like getting to wear your PJs to work!
Nothing much else new except good weather again, so that's always good.
Todd - where are you?
Good morning from the Great state of OK, and the town of Lawton. We arrived last night with the weather getting worse every minute. WE had to go to the grocery store for things for the room, and people were scrambling for food. Turns out it did nothing. A few snow flakes, and some rain, but this morning, it is clear and cool.
We have switched to a new hotel chain for us. We switched, because La Quinta allows dogs to stay free, and Bella is my new travel conpanion. The hotel is very nice, and super clean.
Some have asked about Todd this morning. He called a few minutes ago, and is back in the hospital with the same problems as before. He sounded in good spirits, and hopes to get out today, sometime.
LK, Feel better soon!
Donna, I remember PJ day at school. The kids loved it.
Trip, Have fun.
Well, I guess I better go and nest. I have to put things in places where we can find them, so when Jim says, "Honey, where is my stuff?" I have an answer for him.
I am late getting online today. I have been preparing for the annual "Mike A Wish" fishing trip. My brother from Texas is coming up tomorrow and I have to dress the little fella. He doesn't have the winter clothing needed so I will lend him some of mine. The problem is I'm 6'2" and he's 5'7". So he can't wear any of my insulated pants or any of my boots. In a bit we'll head over to Costco and pick up some stuff so I can make chicken wild rice soup. I am responsible for Friday's "Lunch on the Lake". It will be chicken wild rice soup and cheddar brats. Oh yes: Since I live the closest to a Costco I must buy the liquor. That'll be an expensive purchase when you have twelve guys who no longer enjoy drinking cheap swill. I remember the good ole days when a four of cases of Pabst and a few bottles of Yukon Jack were satisfactory.
I hope everyone has a great day and may the world smile upon you for the rest of the week.
